Should I get rhinoplasty and chin implant at same time?

Hi @Dazzling4768! I am a facial plastic surgeon located in Beverly Hills, CA. I usually perform them on the same day in the operating room. I start off with the chin implant which takes about an hour then I proceed with the rhinoplasty. The chin implant can also be performed in office under local anesthesia. I hope this was helpful!

Chin implants and rhinoplasty are procedures that are commonly done together. Both are typically outpatient procedures and you are correct that having both procedures will naturally balance out the face. Combining the two procedures will allow you to combine the down times as well as allow the edema to subside in both at the same time. This last point is important as both chin implants and rhinoplasty can have extended periods of swelling. Most facial aesthetic surgeons should be comfortable combining the two procedures.
