It looks like you would be a good candidate for a rhinoplasty to refine the tip. Prices will vary between doctors based on location and expertise. I recommend seeing a plastic surgeon for consultation to get a price quote for your procedure.
Thanks for your question and photos. For refining the tip of the nose, either a closed or open (my preferred method to get maximum control of symmetry) tip rhinoplasty can be performed which refines the bulbous area with minimal scarring. An open technique allows better visualization and control of the paired cartilages which act in conjunction to define your tip shape and symmetry. The ability to see both cartilages simultaneously and work on them together allows the surgeon ultimate control over both the shape and symmetry and, of course, beauty of the nose. Cost for rhinoplasty including the fee for the surgeon, surgical facility, anesthesia, and post operative care will depend on the city and surgeon. With that said it's best to set up a few consultations with different surgeons and make an informed decision based on their experience and speciality in the field. View their before and after photos to see what the outcome could potentially be.
Hello,The cost of any procedure is dependent on the geographic location of the surgeon, as well as the training and certification, experience, and popularity of the surgeon. Expect average fees to be around $10000. You can definitely find lower fees, but I caution you that lower fees and higher risk of complications are commensurate. Alternatively, exorbitant fees do not necessarily produce better results. Go visit a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons (or their AAFPRS equivalents) who specialize in rhinoplasty. Best of luck!
Rhinoplasty is a great way to improve the roundedness or bulbousity of the tip of the nose. The cost for the surgery depends on what needs to be done exactly so it's hard to give an exact price without an examination and having a better idea of whether anything else would need to be adjusted to fit the new tip.You should consult with a few rhinoplasty surgeons to find out your options. You can learn more about bulbous nose surgery at my web reference link below.
it is rare that a bulbous tip like yours is treated with a tip plasty alone. It normally requires making the rest of the nose conform to the tip as well. I need to see a full set of photos to determine what else would need to be done. See a very experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who can show you photos of his work.
Reducing the bulbous nasal tip is one of the most commonly requested procedures with rhinoplasty. The exact cost depends on the complexity of the procedure. I recommend that you be evaluated by an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon to determine the exact procedure and associated costs. Good luck!
Slimming and defining a bulbous nose depends on several factors including your underlying nose cartilage and the thickness of your skin. This is best performed with a surgical rhinoplasty. It is best to have an in-office examination to determine what treatment plan will match your goals and expectations. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MD Plastic Surgery@Drjohnsonlee
Treatment of the bulbous nasal tip is a common component of rhinoplasty surgery. This is often done through the "open tip" approach, with an incision across the bottom and incisions on the inside of the nostrils. The refinement of a bulbous tip often includes removal of extra cartilage, placement of stitches to bring the tips of the cartilages together, and additional maneuvers depending on the patient. Sometimes you also need the upper part of the nose refined in order to keep the nose looking balanced. The costs of rhinoplasty range from about $7000 to over $12000 depending on the surgeon, facility, and the patient's particular needs. In-person consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon or ENT facial cosmetic surgeon would be appropriate to help you get a more definitive quote. Additionally, seek a surgeon who has surgical simulation software available to help you visualize the potential effects of different maneuvers on the nose.
I routinely perform rhinoplasty for a bulbous nasal tip. Many patient are bothered by a tip that is too round, ball-like, or boxy. In most cases, other changes need to be made to the nose (bridge) in order to make sure the new tip is in harmony with the rest of the nose. On occasion, I will perform a tip rhinoplasty without making changes to the remainder of the nose. A full physical exam would be necessary in order to be able to give you further recommendations for your nose.
Thank you for your question and photos. A rhinoplasty to help refine the tip is the best procedure for you. Sometimes it is called a 'tip-plasty' because the bridge is not changed. Exact cost is hard to determine without a consultation and depends on many factors including location, insurance (if breathing is an issue), the surgeon, the complexity of the procedure. Schedule a consultation and we can help you answer a lot of these questions.
Experiencing difficulty breathing and a dry nose three weeks after functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) is not uncommon. However, it's essential to determine the cause of these symptoms to rule out conditions like empty nose syndrome (ENS). Empty nose syndrome is a rare condition...

Thank you for an excellent question. To be brief, a rhinoplasty does not change the length of the upper lip or distance between your nasal base (subnasale) and your lip (stomion) or oral commissures. This distance (according to the facial canons of divine proportion) is attractive when it is...
