I react so horribly to antibiotics and am allergic to many. I will be leaving the capsules just removing the implants no replacement. I had a PS suggest doing it in office under local anesthesia. Will they likely still use IV antibiotics ? Any way to avoid them? Thank you.

Drains are placed to remove excess fluid and prevent a pocket of fluid developing. Occasionally, some thin tissue may also appear in the drain. The white stringy stuff was probably not the capsule but nearby tissue.
