Weight loss after breast augmentation of 100 lbs. I am 5'9" I am 30 years old. Female I always weighed between 114-130 my entire life until 2 years ago. I started taking Risperdal and gained 100 lbs. I took it for one and a half years and then stopped. I haven't been able to lose any weight yet, except down to 200 lbs (because I feel pressured ) I am going to get breast implants once my weight goes back to normal 700-800cc approx.
Answer: What would happen if I got the breast implants and then lost 100 lbs? The most common occurrence for massive weight loss with a breast implant in place is for the breast tissue to sag over the implant - something called a Snoopy deformity. This can be usually be fixed with a breast lift. The general recommendation would be to lose the weight then do the breast surgery. It should be noted for safety purposes, your surgery would likely be 2 stages to take into account the extra skin and size of implant you mentioned. As always, be sure to research who performs your surgery to ensure the best likelihood of a positive result.

If you get breast implants first and then lose so much weight, you might have sagginess on your breasts. This means that you might need second surgery after loosing weight. Answer: Weight loss after breast augmentation If you are planning on loosing a significant amount of weight after your breast augmentation surgery, the natural volume of your breast will reduce. The excess skin that remains will either retract or sag. With the amount of weight loss that your are considering there would be considerable concern that it would create some deflation after the weight loss, and you may require a breast lift to revisionary surgery for the shape.

Answer: Breast lift and augmentation Dramatic weight loss often leaves the breasts saggy, whether you have implants or not. If you have implants, your breasts may become saggier. In addition, implant size is chosen based on your current body measurements, so if you lose weight after breast augmentation, the size of your breasts may no longer be proportionately pleasing. It’s recommended that you wait until after you’ve achieved your goal stable weight before proceeding with any cosmetic breast surgery.

Answer: Weight loss and breast augmentation When you lose weight, it not only reduces the size of your waist and thighs, but it might also reduce the size of your breasts because breasts are made up mostly of fatty tissue. If this happens, you might be left with saggy breasts and stretched skin. If you’re planning to lose 10 percent or more of your body weight, it makes sense to wait until you have reached your goal before you have breast augmentation surgery. To choose breast implants that will make you proportional, you need to know your true starting size. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author.
