I have booked for a breast enlargement for 2021, my doctor has told me he could do me 600cc to get me from a 32B to a E cup. I’m just wondering if this will be okay for my frame? I’m scared to go too small but also scared if 600 will be too big for me as I don’t want problems. I am 18, weight: 60kg Height: 5’6 Bra size 32B Want to get to E
Answer: 600cc Based on your height and weight this would be considered a large implant. The most useful measurement that we often use in predicting if an implant size is suitable is the base width of the breast. This is essentially how wide your current breast is. When choosing an implant we usually like the diameter of the implant to stay within 1cm of the base width. For example: if your breast is 12cm wide, then the widest implant that we would recommend would be around 13cm in diameter. We would also consider skin stretch. If your skin is relatively tight it may have difficulty accommodating a 600cc implant. Lastly, you have to consider the long term effects on skin stretch. The larger the implants the more they tend to droop over time. From a surgical perspective, it is always a simpler surgery for you to upsize in the future, rather than trying to downsize.

Answer: First time breast enlargement considering 600cc? Hello, thank you for your question. It is hard to tell without proper photos; a physical examination is needed. A board certified plastic surgeon will be able to guide you to the correct size implant measurements and desires measurements of the chest wall and breast imprint width as well as knowledge of all breast implant sizes and profiles should make this process easy.) Implants of 600cc and higher will create more tissue thinning over time, have more potential for rippling, more potential for bottoming out, greater likelihood of breast lift revisions, etc.

Answer: Implant size The implant size you are considering is large. It will make you several cup sizes larger and give you a very full look. The implants are heavy and over time will likely sag, so be sure to use good support. Your surgeon has examined you and spoken with you about your goals. He/She is your expert in assisting you in selecting the best implant for you.

Answer: Take Caution This sounds like a very large implant for a small frame. The problem with implants that are sized too large is that over time, especially as you are young, this heavy implant will push against your own native breast tissue and cause atrophy, or loss of that tissue. It is important for my patients to choose an implant that fits their frame. An implant this large is likely too wide for you and can make you look top heavy, which women don't want. Have a discussion with your doc and always feel comfortable getting a second opinion.

Answer: How big is too big with #breastimplants with #PlasticSurgery It is difficult to comment without the benefit of any photos, but 600cc does sound too big for you. It may get you to a E cup, but they will probably look too big on your chest and unnatural. Also with time, they will tell on your back and by their weight will tend to stretch the skin envelope and make the breasts droopy. For optimal outcome, please consult a fully qualified plastic surgeon, who has specialist qualification in plastic surgery 'FRCS Plast' after having being trained adequately in the field of plastic surgery, is registered on the 'Specialist register for Plastic surgery' with the General Medical Council and has been considered competent enough to be a member of the 'BAPRAS' (British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons) and 'BAAPS' (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) at the least.
