I recently had a reduction mammaplasty surgery performed by Dr. H. Ukani, and I cannot recommend him and his team enough. My entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. While the surgery itself went perfectly, I did experience a complication with a hematoma on my right side shortly afterward. When I went to the emergency room in my city, Dr. Ukani went above and beyond. He personally called the emergency room and had me transferred to a better-equipped hospital. He even met me there to examine me personally, ensuring I received the best care possible. His attentiveness and compassion made me feel so comfortable and well cared for during what could have been a very stressful time. Since then, I’ve healed perfectly, and the results have exceeded my expectations. Not only is Dr. Ukani an incredibly skilled surgeon, but his dedication to his patients is truly unmatched. I also want to give a special shoutout to the staff at the Valley Surgery Centre in Surrey. They were amazing—professional, kind, and supportive every step of the way. Their warmth and expertise added to the positive experience. If you’re considering this procedure or any plastic surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Ukani and his team. You’ll be in excellent hands!
I recently had a breast reduction with Dr Ukani and I can say I'm very happy with everything from start to finish. The team is fantastic - very kind, patient, and professional. Dr Ukani himself is lovely. He answered all of my questions and was very clear about his methods and what I could expect to see for results. I felt like I was informed and included each step of the way. I also appreciated that he could instantly tell how much I would benefit from the surgery and focus was not placed on my weight: it was very validating! Now post surgery, I can already feel the benefits and healing has gone very smoothly. While I personally didn't put much focus on the appearance of my breasts post-op as the surgery was for my health, I will say I am very impressed with his work - you can tell he has plenty of experience! Dr Ukani has also followed up with me several times and has made it known that I can always reach out to his office if I need anything. Would highly recommend!
Dr UKANI was friendly, professional, and reacted quickly to any issues I had. It was a great experience. His office staff were great as well.. very on top of things and able to deal with any questions I had.
I cannot recommend Dr Ukani enough. His office is very clean. His staff is respectful and friendly. He has your best interest at heart and even if it means he will take a financial hit, he will still do what’s best for you and what he feels will make you the happiest. I went in originally for a lift and an implant, and due to my apprehensiveness about scaring, at my last pre-op he told me to just get, the implant because he knew I was really worried about the scars. He said if I go back to him for the lift if I change my mind down the road, he will give me a discount. I will be leaving all my plastic surgery needs to Dr Ukani and I would return in a heartbeat. my confidence is back and I’m so impressed with his job and I’ve gotten many compliments. He explains the procedure in depth and very well to you. He answers any question you have without making you feel silly or acting like it’s an inconvenience to answer your questions. The staff on the day of the surgery did a great job of reassuring my nerves and explaining everything as it was happening, so I wasn’t left in the dark. His operation space is quiet and clean, and I felt very well taken care of. I had an issue with one implant, settling faster than the other, he went through many times different exercises that I could do and he recommended me continuing to use the stabilizer band. He explained why I was doing the exercises and what he was aiming to happen he explained the band and it was essential for me to wear it. He also was very generous with offering more bands when he noticed that my older stabilizer band was starting to get worn out and tired. He also provided the paper tape scarring gel and silicone tape for once I reach my six weeks.
I had an excellent experience with Dr Ukani from the very first consult, right through to all my post-op follow up appointments. His front staff were always attentive and so happy to help with quick responses to any questions I emailed or called in and the staff at the surgical center were fantastic too, calming my nerves and making me feel exceptionally comfortable before and after my surgery. Oh, and my results were excllent too!!
I had breast implants & a lift 2 years ago. I had tuberous breasts and was worried implants might not be best suited for me. Dr Ukani assured me he could give me the look that I wanted and to this day I look in the mirror and still am obsessed with them. I was recently able to afford a tummy tuck & didn’t even bother looking into any other surgeons for this. I knew Ukani was my guy! He isn’t in social media and doesn’t have too many before or after photos but I just knew he could deliver. I had my surgery 4 days ago and even though I am swollen and look like Frankenstein I am SO SO SO in love with my results. I had 2 c sections and lost 100 pounds a few years ago and had alot of stretch marks and loose skin. I would 1000% recommend Dr Ukani to anyone. Thank you so much you have changed my life !
I am so so happy with the results of my Breast Augmentation Revision and Lift , I had my 17 year old implants exchange for new ones and I had a lift , I could not be more happy that I found Dr Ukani he is just amazing and he is so professional and kind , he really listens to any concerns you may have , I highly recommend Dr. Ukani and his wonderful staff both at the office and at the VSC , just outstanding .
Just had breast implant removal early Feb 23'. I'm very impressed by Dr Ukani's skills and his whole team. Very professional and they have showed they do care about patient well being. I'm recovering well without much pain. Highly recommend. Glad to find this clinic. Thank you !
Dr. Ukani did an amazing job, I made the perfect choice in surgeons when I chose to go with Dr. Ukani. I had a breast lift and augmentation. I am located in Richmond, so the idea of going to Port Moody for my appointments seemed daunting, BUT, it was so worth it. His work is amazing, I cant get over how precise and clean his incisions were. Even after the surgery, his after care was amazing. Anytime I had a concern or question, no matter how small, he would respond immediately. If I sent his office an email with a question or concern, he would ALWAYS get back to me right away with a personal phone call, which I really appreciated. He cared about how you were doing afterwards. Again, I am so happy I chose Dr. Ukani. Thank you to Dr. Ukani and your staff for the amazing results and care. I highly recommend Dr. Ukani for anyone looking for a lift and/or augmentation and I would definitely go to him again.
Highly recommend Dr. Ukani and Valley Surgical Centre. I had a breast lift (no implants) last week and was only on bed rest for 2 days post surgery with minimal pain (mostly discomfort). I’m amazed with the results so far and the bruising has mostly subsided. For reference I’m in my 30’s and weigh about 165 and was a 36D (post breastfeeding). I’d say I am most likely a small C cup now. It was about 6 months in total from initial consultation to surgery date.
Based on your height and weight this would be considered a large implant. The most useful measurement that we often use in predicting if an implant size is suitable is the base width of the breast. This is essentially how wide your current breast is. When choosing an implant we usually like the diameter of the implant to stay within 1cm of the base width. For example: if your breast is 12cm wide, then the widest implant that we would recommend would be around 13cm in diameter. We would also consider skin stretch. If your skin is relatively tight it may have difficulty accommodating a 600cc implant. Lastly, you have to consider the long term effects on skin stretch. The larger the implants the more they tend to droop over time. From a surgical perspective, it is always a simpler surgery for you to upsize in the future, rather than trying to downsize.
I would not say that the recovery is more painful with less fat or tissue before surgery. However, patients that have their breast implants placed on top of the muscle usually have less pain compared to patients where the implant is placed under the muscle. If you do not have a lot of tissue to begin with, then there is a higher likelihood that your surgeon would recommend implant placement under the muscle. Additionally, a larger sized implant can also have an impact on the pain afterwards.
If you are planning on loosing a significant amount of weight after your breast augmentation surgery, the natural volume of your breast will reduce. The excess skin that remains will either retract or sag. With the amount of weight loss that your are considering there would be considerable concern that it would create some deflation after the weight loss, and you may require a breast lift to revisionary surgery for the shape.
If you had such a dramatic change in your breasts after your first pregnancy, you have to be prepared that it may occur again with future pregnancies. Hence, it would be better to wait until after you have had children ideally.
You wound probably benefit from a breast lift to improve the shape of the breasts. It looks as though the nipple/areolar complex is sitting low, and there is some loss of volume in the upper pole of the breast. A breast lift would make the breasts rounder, increase the upper pole fullness, and reposition the areolas higher on the breasts. This would leave a lollipop scar around the areola, and from the areola to the inframammary fold.
