I am 2 weeks post Tummy tucksurgery and my Dr. Gave me a "pie crust" incision. I was wondering what the timeline was for the incision to flatten out because it seems impossible! It's pretty raised and I'm curious when people usually start seeing results. My Dr. did and awesome job by the way, shout out to Dr. Joseph Capella.

Hello,You appear to have a normal result with a lot of swelling. Keep close follow up with your doctor and in time (3 to 4 months) you will have a much improved appearance.Best of luck!

First, if you feel like you have fluid then it should be evaluated and possibly drained by your surgeon. At 2 weeks, you have a lot of healing left to do in terms of the final scar appearance. Expect it to take a few months at least. Ask your surgeon about options such as silicone sheets to help.
