I think you have an excellent result. At one day post op you have swelling. This swelling will get worse before it gets better. It takes several weeks for the swelling to subside enough for you to see what your final results will be like. I do think that when your swelling is resolved, you will be really pleased with your results!
You underwent a mini versus a full tummy tuck; this procedure will not improve the skin around your belly button as well it won't improve your muscle bulge(diastasis); I would have also considered an extended tummy tuck as most of your bulk is on your sides (flank areas); an extended tummy tuck would be the ideal procedure for you and would have contoured your sides and given you significant reduction of the waist line.
