Rhinoplasty…what type for my nose/results possible? (Photo)

Hello! To fix the wide bridge you would need both medial and lateral osteotomies (break and re-set the nasal bones). If you have a slight hump (can't tell from the photos) then I would lower that also. Then I would trim the tip cartilages just a bit and suture the domes together for slight increase in rotation. That's basically what I would recommend unless you have other concerns. Hope that helps!

Thank you for your question along with the photos. This is a fairly common nose type where the bump on the bridge of the nose is located where the nasal bones and cartilages meet. This can be due to trauma or from genetics. This would be a case where composite dorsal hump reduction (remove the excess bone and cartilage) would be indicated to improve the dorsal aesthetic lines. Once this is complete, the nasal bones would have to be brought inwards. The goal would be to have two parallel light reflections down the frontal view of the nose.

Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. The bridge can be narrowed and the tip refined. It goes down when you smile because it lacks support. It's hard to find anyone that has a nose that looks just like you. However, be sure to see an expert rhinoplasty surgeon for consultation and you should be able to look through a lot of photos to find something close.
