How long after miraDry can I shave my armpits again? 3 days post op.

Depending on how sensitive your underarms are feeling, I would recommend waiting 5-7 days after treatment before shaving!  Be careful shaving, as the underarm may be lumpy from swelling! Best Wishes,

It is ok to shave after 3-7 days from your treatment,  once your swelling or tenderness subsides.

Hi there and thanks for your question! I would recommend waiting to shave for 5-7 days depending on how sensitive your armpits are feeling after the treatment.  I also suggest waiting to use deodorant for the same amount of time to avoid any irritation.  Best of luck!

Since the skin under the arm can feel sore/sensitive (often described as feeling like a sunburn), we recommend holding off until after your sensitivity completely resolves. This generally takes 3-7 days after treatment.

Thank you for your question.I would recommend waiting until the skin has completely settled after your MiraDry procedure before shaving as you skin can be a little sensitive after the procedure. A week should be enough time.

In general there should be little to no hair regrowth for the next several weeks following miradry. Should you need to shave, I would recommend waiting at least 1 week after the treatment and proceed only if the swelling and superficial irritation has resolved. Be very careful, as the skin's sensation to touch will be diminished in that area and the risk of a razor nick is higher.

The treatment area is typically swollen and sensitive for several days after the Miradry procedure.  It is best to wait until the skin is not sensitive to the touch in order to stop shaving. We provide miraDry at my practice as well. We recommend waiting until the swelling until the swelling goes down, since the surface is uneven and may cause you to cut yourself. Swelling can take up to a week to go down. Best of luck to you!
