I prefer an incision technique on the skin in order better access the muscle that opens the eyelid directly (anterior approach). The eyelid crease can be recreated more precisely this way. The posterior approach is done from the undersurface of the eyelid but in my opinion is not as precise.

Ptosis overcorrected 21 days ago. Should I consider a revision now or 6 months later? (Photos)

Since you had one attempt at revision on the left eye and the problem persists, it may be better to wait for the full 6months. Either the surgeon under-corrected the left eye both times, or the left muscle is just very weak, in which case you may have to consider dropping the right eye a bit...

Upper eyelid/sub-brow fillers are used in hollow upper eyelid as an alternative to surgically repairing the upper eyelid. I personal do not think the fillers are ideal for these issues but I recognized that not everyone has the same level of surgical skill so they seek alternatives to surgeries....

Ptosis surgery is complex and so is its reversal but it can be done with some limitations. Discuss with your surgeon and see an expert oculoplastic surgeon.
