Can these pleats, dog ears be fixed or made less visible? (Photo)

They say that when you are in a deep hole, the best think to do is stop digging.  This is not a dog ear.  It is an ugly depressed scar.  Stop messing with the chin.  Let it heal. Most folks are not going to notice this area because it is under you chin.  Let this area heal for about 6 to 12 months.  If it is still bothering you then, consider seeing established cosmetic surgeons for opinions regarding your best options at that point.

Honestly, I don't think that Kybella will help with your issues since they are more about skin and scar tissue. For now, be patient. It may take 6 months to a year for the final results from your surgery. At that point, if you are still unhappy, speak with your surgeon. 

It is too early to appreciate the final result of a surgical procedure. You must wait at least another 6 or 9 months to decide on a non-surgical procedure or a surgical revision. Kybella probably won't help in this case where the problem is related to extra skin and scar tissue. Best. LM

Most scars will change dramatically within 12 months and that is why plastic surgeons will not revise any scars prior to that time frame. Often dog ears may soften over this time as well and become less noticeable. It is difficult to tell form the pictures where the incision was placed. Kybella will have no effect whatsoever to the quality of the skin. It causes an inflammatory reaction that may be felt as bumps which may last up to 8 weeks. Isolated submental (under the chin) fat deposits may be addressed with Kybella, liposuction or direct excision. It is very uncommon for most plastic surgeons to address loose skin under the chin just by excising a small piece of skin. Loose skin under the chin is commonly addressed with a neck lift.
