Hi there! I noticed this pouch by the right side of my mouth and it has been there for 5-6 months now. I got a bit of cheek fillers 1.5 years ago. Ended up getting sick with subacute thyroiditis 7 months later and lost a little over 10lbs as a result. Have since recovered. Could this be filler migration? Buccal fat? Perioral Mounds? Muscle? Anything I can do for this? I'm in my early 30s and it's making me a bit self conscious :).
Answer: Mouth Your filler is gone by now and this is excess skin from weight loss. I would suggest micro-needling with radiofrequency, like Secret, for skin tightening.

Answer: Recommend starting with trying to dissolve the area Filler migration, swelling, and granulomas can cause significant discomfort and cosmetic ramifications. Our office specializes in the use of enzymes and filler reversal techniques without hyaluronidase to help improve the results of botched cosmetic fillers, whether caused by Juvederm, Restylane, or foreign fillers. Our plastic surgery institute provides expertise in filler removal. We begin by examining the facial fillers and assessing the likelihood of fluctuance or liquid volumization. If appropriate, we use Hylenex, or other filler reversal agents to reduce swelling and filler migration. Hylenex can be targeted into the areas of concern using multiple layered injection techniques. If the filler does not completely resolve, then additional concentrations may be employed. The technique has the potential to reduce the filler and may slightly impact normal hyaluronic acid. Treatments are repeated and results can improve immediately and with time. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Cheek Augmentation with Injectable Fillers -- typical swelling after injection, see an expert It is common to have swelling and some bruising for a couple weeks after fillers. If the swelling persists, be sure to return to your physician (or see a cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert) for a formal evaluation. If you're unhappy with your results, you can often have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Unusual facial contour The contour issue is most likely similar to what causes Peri oral mounds. It’s definitely not buccal fat and it’s not migration of fillers, which in my opinion doesn’t actually happen. Facial contour is made up of many different components. The first and primary is facial bone structure. After that they’re on the regular soft tissue layers, and then finally contour related to tension and contraction of all the muscles of facial expression. Reducing the volume around your lip is going to be difficult so the easiest and most likely best treatment is to augment they are young, just adjacent to it. We can sometimes so often Giles by adding fillers in front of the Joe call the pre-Jowl sulcus. In the same way fillers could be added just behind the area fullness as the transitions to your cheek. It may not be easy or straightforward, and you should look for highly experienced senior providers who have a lot of experience. I don’t think you’ll find any single diagnosis or abnormality.
