The top of my spine has always stuck out, and now there's a thick pad of fat over it. What would it cost, approximately, to remove it surgically.
Answer: Surgery the cost will vary on location and if done under general anesthesia or as awake, done under local anesthesia with oral sedation. Please find a plastic surgeon in your area to discuss this.

Answer: Buffalo hump deformity If this was the only surgery we do, it can be done with numbing agents and pain meds no need for anesthesia. That would keep cost down. Definitely under 5k, there would be minimal down time for recovery. Within a couple days usually ok to return to work

Answer: Cost of surgery Dear oandlomom, the cost of surgery depends on a lot of factors (type of surgery, number of treated areas, anesthesia fee, surgeon, facility fee, city, etc.). It would be the best to visit or call plastic surgery offices and ask for a price. Answer: "Buffalo hump" treatment Thank you for your question and for sharing your photos. I would need to examine you to best answer your question. This could represent fatty tissue or could be a lipoma (a non-cancerous fatty tumor), which could be addressed with liposuction. If it is a lipoma, I perform lipoma removal using a minimal-scar technique through a small incision. I recommend you speak with a fully-trained plastic surgeon who can examine you and discuss treatment options. Good luck!

Answer: Liposuction of Buffalo Hump Buffalo hump reduction is a common request. Cost typically depends on the type of liposuction used and if combined with skin tightening modalities.Because fat in this area is typically firm and fibrous, I usually recommend the use of Vaser or ultrasound assisted liposuction, which can range from $2000-4000, depending on several factors.Speak with a boar-certified plastic surgeon to see what modality would be best for you.
