Thank you for sharing your question.  Three syringes of Voluma should lead to a noticeable change in appearance and a comparison of your before and after images should confirm this.  That said, filler placement will also lead to temporary tissue swelling which offers additional soft tissue volume, which as it resolves may make your initial results seem to disappear.  Talk to your injector, they can offer you the best advice.

What you experience is quite common: In the days following most filler injections, the results appear to be more pronounced given the presence of swelling which adds to the volume. As the swelling goes away, the volume goes down but it rarely goes back to the baseline given the presence of filler. Nonetheless, some patients might see this and think that the filler didn't work. In cases like this, the best approach is to do a follow up with your physician and do a comparison between pictures taken before the injection and current pictures which will almost always objectively show the improvements.
