Why do some people have to walk hunched over for weeks after a tummy tuck and some people are requested to stand straight asap? I was instructed to walk straight right after surgery- I had lipo360, a tummy tuck with muscle repair, a breast augmentation, and a BBL. Does walking straght versus hunched mean that my tummy tuck won't be as tight as possible? Im just curious on the reason behind the differences and how they affect the patient.

Walking hunched over or sitting in a beach chair position allows you not to put stress on the new incision allows for better healing results. In general, you’re tight when we close the incision. Yes you stand up straight, you may cause a wound dehiscence, which means a wound opening.
