I am 33 years old. I have never had children. When I was 17, I had a partial hysterectomy, to explain the lower abdominal scar. My question is, would I need a Mommy Makeover (my rectus diastasis wouldn't need repairing?) or would I need a combination of lipo, TT, and breast aug? I don't want a BBL. I'm looking to maybe have this procedure done at the end of this year or the beginning of '24. I am 5'7". My fit track Dara scale says this is my body composition (see picture)
Answer: Do I need a Mommy Makeover? Or would I need a combination of lipo, TT, and breast aug? Hi. There may be different definitions out there but in general a mommy makeover refers to some form of breast enhancement done along with abdominal enhancement, as those are the 2 areas that often see a lot of changes after pregnancies and childbirth. In your case, based on your pictures, I would say that you are a good candidate for breast augmentation mastopexy which means implants in addition to a breast lift, as well as abdominoplasty and liposuction of the flanks. Those procedures can be done separately, or they can be done together which is what I would refer to as a mommy makeover. I think it is worth inquiring with the surgeon that you end up seeing about the rectus diastases, but I do rectus plication in about 99% of the abdominoplasties that I do because I feel that it is a very important part of the contouring benefit of a tummy tuck (by tightening the abdominal wall), so I would strongly recommend that. I would recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon with good experience in all of these areas, especially doing them together. Good luck and take care, Dr. Howell

Answer: Mommy Maker Over with muscle repair non-absorbable suture Hello, I am Dr. Salvador Garcia from Guadalajara Mexico, my recommendation for you is to perform a Tummy Tuck, with internal corset (muscle repair), this can be with non-absorbable suture if you have a desire to get pregnant, I also recommend performing 360 lipo , and in your breast put implant below the muscle and reconstruct with an inverted T Matopexy or peri-areolar Mastopexy.

Answer: No rectus diastasis repair You are young, never had children, and from the picture you have pretty good skin quality I do not see why you would need to undergo a rectus diastasis repair if you have not had children. I believe you would have a great result with liposuction of your abdomen and waist possible back bra roll. If you wear the garment for 12 weeks after surgery, 24/7 with lipofoam, most of your skin should be retract. If not, you can have a minimal skin excision where you had your C-section scar. At some point you will need a breast lift but perhaps wait till after you have children, if you are planning on having children. If you do not plan to have children, you can undergo a breast lift with fat grafting to the right breast for symmetry

Answer: Do I need a Mommy Makeover? Or would I need a combination of lipo, TT, and breast aug? Based on your photos, I would suggest a breast augmentation combined with liposuction of your abdomen and flanks (lower back). I would also suggest a mini-abdominoplasty to tighten the lower abdominal tissue after the liposuction. This could all be performed with one procedure. Good luck!

Answer: Mommy Makeover Thank you for sharing your pictures. Based on your description, you are indeed a great candidate for liposuction and a tummy tuck to address the abdominal area. This would help contour the abdomen and address any concerns related to the scar. As for the breasts, the decision to pursue breast augmentation entirely depends on your aesthetic goals and the look you're aiming to achieve. It's important to have an in-depth consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and tailor the procedures to your specific desires and needs.
