Do I need a third FUE procedure? (photos)

I understand your last picture was taken 7 months after your second procedure. Hair grow speed is dependent on many factors (age, lifestyle, environmental, among others) and varies from patient to patient.  It can take up to a year-14 months for a final hair transplant result to show. Be patient and reassess the final result when that time comes.

Some patients may have other factors to their hair which can contribute to hair loss which need to be properly evaluated.  Hair loss is a complex medical and surgical problem which requires specialized attention to achieve appropriate results.Aside from transplantation, you may want to consider trying a Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injection first. The addition of concentrated growth factors to thinner regions of hair can drastically stimulate follicle growth. Plus, it's a financially conservative treatment. I like to use PRP with my patient's hair transplants, as well as separately from their procedures. Patients that have thin regions of hair can use PRP for correction to hair density and there are numerous areas you can use it - beard, brows, and scalp being most common.

Nobody needs a hair transplant surgery. If your hair loss makes you feel "self conscious" then it is best to see a doctor who can help.3200 grafts to the crown (if it all grows) should be more than enough to cover the bald area.You have to wait a full 12 months to see the final impact.

While we do expect to see some regrowth at the seven month mark, we do wait until it has been at least 12 months to evaluate and make a final judgement call. Patience is challenging but the regrowth really does take some time. I would discuss preventative measures - Finasteride, Laser Therapy, etc - with your surgeon to ensure your crown thinning does not expand and you can hold on to the native hair you have in the area. Hoping you see continued growth for the next 5-7 months or so.

Hello, For third operation, we advise you to wait around 6 months more for recovery. Total number of extracted grafts is not so big, but before operation it should be analyzed, for more detailed consultation you can send us your photos of donor part and other parts of your head.

3200 follicular units have been used to the crown already, so the 3rd surgery must be careful.
You can wait until the full result around 12 months and then consider if you really want to spend most the reservoir donor on the crown area. hairloss is ongoing process and you may require more donor hair at the front as well. You can add SMP in conjunction with hair transplantation to make a densr look. Or you can look for anothe resources of donor hair. Beard hair is also a good option to transfer to the crown.

You will see a 60% result after 6 months from the surgery; you will notice 100% of the results in one year after the surgery. For exact result, you have to wait at least one year. It is too early to discuss third session for you. 

I would give the results from the second procedure some more time.  I am hopeful over the next couple of months that the density will improve.  It may be worth doing some PRP to move things along.  I would follow up with your surgeon so that proper follow up and interventions such as PRP can be discussed and possibly completed.
