Would it be possible to remove a beard transplant in its entirety?  (Photo)

I got a beard transplant that consists of 2000 grafts a few years ago, it doesn’t look as good as I would have hoped when it’s grown. Would it be possible to remove the beard transplant entirely? I am wanting to not waste the hairs to laser hair removal, could it be possible to do FUE on the hairs and use them for the head?
