Could I have lipo on my mons pubis?

I'm wondering if I could have lipo on my mons pubis. It's always been puggy since a kid. I had a tummy tuck years ago, I gained the weight back and now losing the weight again. My stomach is flat but the pouch is big seems like my stomach is into it.

Yes, the mons can be reduced (most of the time) with simple liposuction. Occasionally, if there is significant excess skin, skin removal may be considered. The procedure can take place either in the office using local anesthesia and sedation, or it may be done in the formal OR if other procedures are being carried out.

Thank you for your question. Yes, you can have liposuction of the Mons Pubis after a tummy tuck if you meet all the other health requirements for surgery. 
I often thin out areas of fat, such as the flanks (love handles) and pubic area before the actual tummy tuck portion to be able to pull and contour the waist into a more hour glass shape and make sure that a puffy pubic area is avoided after the tummy is completely healed and nice and tight so is the pubic area making for a fantastic result.  I do find that the pubic region can take several months for the swelling and bruising to go away. 
You will get the best answer to your question by scheduling an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and discuss your unique situation and concerns. The surgeon would meet with you and examine you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative procedure in person and what to realistically expect. Then you can make an informed decision on which procedure(s) to start with according to your desires, recovery time necessary, your history and current health.

Thank you for your question. Certainly lipo can be done to reduce the size of the Mons pubis. Some times excisional surgery may be needed. Please consult with a board certified PS for evaluation.

This is very easy to treat with liposuction using a local anesthetic, and possibly even Coolsculpting if you prefer a non-invasive option. I typically do this at the time of a tummy tuck to help prevent this very common problem.Best,

Thank you for your question.  Liposuction to the mons pubis is definitely an option, and is frequently performed in conjunction with other procedures.  Based on your description, however, you may benefit from a reduction of your mons by direct excision.  In addition to the excess fat, you may also have excess skin which can be addressed by excising it and utilizing your prior abdominoplasty scar.  I recomend that you consult with a surgeon to see what would provide you the best result.

The months pubis responds well to liposuction if it has excessive amounts of fat and no skin laxity.
Many patients have skin laxity which is more of the primary concern then excess subcutaneous fat.
Easiest way to differentiate is the lift up on the skin of your lower abdomen to put tension on the Mons pubis.
If this makes the area flat then you need a skin removal procedure.
If it still remains full after pulling on the skin then liposuction will probably help substantially.
