Ethan Philpott, MD

I am a 43 year old Caucasian female, and the Croton Oil/ Phenol Peel is the best thing I've ever done for myself! Life changing! (My face is still pink, but I'll post photos in the future.) Dr. Philpott and everyone at the Body Sculpting Center could not be sweeter. Dr. Philpott is a massive presence (I think he's about 6'4") and he apparently played ice hockey at Harvard. He spent a great deal of time with me, explained the procedure, and was quite funny about how I'd look each day of the healing process. (Yes, there is a "Pizza the Hut" day!). I wouldn't say recovery is painful, but it IS a bit uncomfortable. However, all of my fine lines and pigment have been completely blasted. My friends say I look 35. The most important thing to me, however, is the texture of my skin. It just feels baby soft again. If you want to do something for yourself, ladies (or gents!), THIS is it!!!

Well I decided to pull the trigger and book an appointment with Dr. Philpott for a tummy tuck, bbl and lipo 360. The appointment went great and he was very informative and honest. After much thought I decided to book my surgery for this upcoming March. The booking went quick and the front staff seemed knowledgeable. I do have a pending question that I emailed and have not received a response. I hope they respond quickly. Will keep you guys updated on the communication and my procedure.

Wow! If you're sleeping on Dr. Ethan Philpott at The Body Sculpting Center, you're a fool! I just completed round 2 and I can't believe this is my body. I'll be 40 in a month and he gave me the best gift ever, my confidence. Breast lift with mentor silicone implants and lipo all around.

So I have been thinking about getting a tummy tuck for probably the last 15 years. I really started researching providers and going to consultations over the last 5 years. Well, I finally chose a provider and pulled the trigger on 2/14/22! I went to see Dr. Philpott in August 2021, after meeting him for my consultation I decided he was the one who I would entrust in surgically repairing my body. Fast forward to today 2/28/22, I am so glad that I chose him to do my surgery! His work is amazing! I am 2 wks post op and even with swelling, I am already so in love with my results. I feel Like he is honest and really does his best to give you the optimal results for your body. A little background on me, I am 42yrs old, mom of 4, 2 of them c-sections, I’m 5’2”, weighed 211lbs prior to surgery, 7 days post op I was 204lbs.

3 c-sections, stretch marks, fluctuating weight, tubal litigation and my 39th birthday is right around the corner so I was read for a new me. I went on multiple consultations for an extended tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo 360, but I really wanted to go with a board certified plastic surgeon due to a high BMI, my age and scar tissue with my c-sections. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Ethan Philpott at The Body Sculpting Center in Scottsdale, AZ. He wa able to easily and accurately answer all y questions, and he was realistic about what I should expect during recovery. I'm glad I listened when he discouraged me from getting a bbl by explaining how the Lipo would improve my shape since I already had a large rump. Don't get me wrong, plastic surgery is not for wimps (tummy tuck was worse than all 3 c-s tons combined) but it was worth it. By the way, I posted an up close pic of my belly button because a lot of people are worried about getting a messed up bb. I don't know how he did it, but even though it's till a little red, it look like a real one. Updated on 15 Jul 2022: Updated on 15 Jul 2022: My before pics are 1 year after lipo 360, tummy tuck and muscle repair. After pics are 2 week fre more lipo for shaping and breast implants itch. Lift. Starting to feel like a person again. Ethan Philpott is amazing!!! I will never go anywhere else. He gets more excited fo results than his patients lol. Awesome staff and awesome care. You can text all hours of the night if you have concerns. The best!

I went in for a tummy tuck and was convinced to do a bbl instead to avoid a huge scar, lift my butt, and potentially avoid the need for the tummy tuck altogether. I was so disappointed about not getting the tummy tuck I started crying (I've had two kids and they were HUGE sooo lots of stretch marks). Hey were absolutely willing to do what I wanted but gave me the proper information to make an I formed decision. I couldn't be happier with the dr, staff, or care I received. I would recommend them to anyone!

The saying, “You get what you pay for” does not apply here. Allow me to explain. I will try not to write a novel. The price point here is spot on, average really. Or so it seems... You see, besides the price being all inclusive (implants, surgeons and anesthesiologists fees, surgery room, etc), there is the love, respect and care that Dr. Philpott and his staff lavish on his patients; and THAT is priceless. Shortly after my breast augmentation (which is gorgeous!) I had a little accident and developed a nasty hematoma. I called him on a Friday and he had me come right in. We were to schedule a surgery for the following Monday to take care of it but I was in a lot of pain, I was stressed and worried about the financial burden another surgery would bring. He offered to remove the hematoma then and there with the understanding I would be awake but numb. I agreed and he laid out what to expect. I won’t lie, I was scared. I was crying. But I needed the relief and I felt comfortable and safe with him. Dr. Philpott’s wife works at the practice and offered to come in and be with me through the procedure. She held my hand, wiped my tears, talked me through what was going on and before I knew, the 3 of us were laughing and having a great conversation while he did his work. Since then, every time I have even the slightest concern, they take my calls or get me in right away. No hesitation at all. I agree, you usually get what you pay for. But here... you get more. You also get what you give. I carefully read all the reviews on Dr. Philpott I could find before my consultation. I chose him because of the negative reviews. Because he took the time to answer each one. He was very matter of fact, which speaks to his honesty. I knew he would shoot it to me straight and I wasn’t wrong. I specifically chose him because of one particular nasty review where the patient went so far as to insult one of his employees’ body type to which he replied that (essentially) every body is beautiful and people who insult others’ bodies are not welcome back. Wow! So, in summation: Great Price Point Gorgeous Work Amazing Staff Phenomenal Doctor I cannot recommend this place enough!

So I went in for a consult skeptical because this was my 2nd but fat tfer. Initially I did my first one in Mexico however it was pretty much botched and done half ass with only 500cc in each cheeck that probably all died on my flight back home 4 years ago. Dr P UNDERSTOOD my goal was to have more of a hourglass shape with symmetrical cheeck"s . So far I got what I wanted . I wanted a nice big fat round ass. It's been 7 days since I did the procedure and I've had a medical book recovery. Thankfully I was up walking the first day and made myself walk a lot because I knew that was important to recover fast. I still have lots of swelling and I will be posing pics soon. I will say that I'm loving the results even with the swelling and I can't wait to redo my boobs soon with him next!

My goals were mainly that I wanted bigger breasts but was afraid they would not look natural in shape being that I have a small narrow upper body frame. Dr. Philpott and his team did an excellent job listening to my concerns and wants/needs. Very professional, while maintaining that transparency that everyone needs when making these kind of decisions. I was also very happy with the way Ellie communicated with me on everything from financing, to personal recommendations/considerations. The pre-op nurse was kind & gentle and ensured I was well informed of exactly what I need to do me what to expect each step of the way, before-after-during you name it, heck I could even believe she would've been the type to soothe me & play with my hair even while under anesthesia (and I mean that in the sweetest most harmless way) I have been referring everyone who asks to Dr. Philpott and his wonderful team.
