Question

I have a transverse nasal crease it's really deep and slightly darker than the rest of my nose. Is there a chance that it will go away on its own? Also what is the cause? Thank you in advance for your answers.

Thank you for sharing. A picture alone cannot fully assess a nasal situation. A physical exam is necessary. It could be cartilage, skin or a combination of factors. See an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon who can fully and properly evaluate you. Best wishes

There are many reasons patient's get a crease on the nose, such as rubbing it from allergies, or a distinction between the upper lateral cartilage and the lower lateral cartilage. Thin skinned individuals tend to get more creases than thick skin individuals

There are several possible sources for a nasal crease including:scarskin crease from manual movement of the areaedge of cartilageA more in depth physical exam and discussion would be needed to determine what the source of this crease is from. It would be almost impossible to determine the cause of this crease without examining it in person.  The causes could include many factors and could be treated as we often treat many facial creases with not just one modality but a combination of treatments to achieve a complete result.  A board certified plastic surgeon, with years of experience in facial reconstruction and aesthetic surgery should be able to help improve this.
