Should I do anything about my nose suddenly changing shape? If so, what?

I've had a deviated septum since I was 8 and it's been getting worse. Now it's irritated&inflamed. I'm neither ill nor suffer from hayfever. The nostril which the septum leans into seems enlarged&my nose seems wider&less defined all of a sudden& more downturned&bulbous. It even seems to be tilted diagonally, that nostril down&larger. Each nostril has a dimple above it. my nose widens&turns down more when I smile. I can see my greater Alar cartilage in that nostril. No recent blunt trauma AFAIK.
