Thank you for your question.  As long as your surgeon has evaluated the wounds and determined that there is. I infection, I would continue with the local wound care at this time and keep it clean.  I would hope that these wounds heal without complications or any issues with the overall outcome.  You will likely need to perform such care to the area until it is completely healed. However, if there is any new changes in the appearance or you develop any new signs or symptoms, you should seek immediate medical attention.  Best wishes!

Thank you for your question. Your photo is concerning for an infection. I would suggest oral antibiotics and local wound care, but it is best for you to have close follow up with your board certified plastic surgeon for specific management recommendations. Hope this helps and good luck. 

This is worrisome for infection. I would follow very closely with your surgeon. In some cases the implant needs to be removed and the incision needs to be evaluated asap.

Hello,Typically small incision areas which are slow to close will do so on their own with conservative wound care, however it is important that you keep and eye on it and be seen in person for any concerns with infection.All the best

Based on what you are discribing this could be suture material that is dissolving.  Keep checking in with your surgeon so they are aware of everything that is happening.  They will be able to give you the very best advise in terms of what needs to be done going forward.
