Breast fistula removal and implants (Photo)

I had my nipples pierced four years ago, had them in for a few months then removed them because of infection in my right nipple. The infection would seem to clear up then abscess back again. I developed a fistula from the infection. Last year I had the fistula and the track and some glands around it removed. I have been problem free and the surgeon said I could get implants once it healed. What is your opinion I would like them but am I a good candidate?

Best to see your doctor. The feeling of "super tight going to pop" isn't something that I ever want to hear. 6 months is a safe time. If you'r over 40 i get a mammogram before surgery, so you're really set for 12 months afterward...

At 3 weeks postop you will most likely still undergo some significant changes.  Depending on what kind of implant you have your surgeon may recommend breast massage.  At this point I would recommend you continue to follow your surgeon's instructions
