I am currently 42 years old. I am only 5 foot 2 and have chronic neck pain and they feel so heavy. I really want them out and not replaced but I am worried about not having enough breast tissue to resemble a decent shape. I do not care how small they are, I just want a decent shape and not a "pancake" look. What would you suggest? Thank you in advance.

Answer: Removal of 700cc Breast Implants, Then What? It is impossible to give a good opinion without an in-person exam. But most likely you will have loose skin and may need a breast lift with either a small implant or fat transfer. Consult with a couple of board certified plastic surgeons to learn what options are available to you. Good luck.

Answer: Removing 700cc implants Hello! Thank you for your question and for providing pictures. After having an implant, specially a large volume as 700cc, the skin and breast tissue expands and becomes thinner (also the muscle if the implant was placed behind it). So if you have a 700cc implant removed you will have a lot of extra skin and you will not have the same breast volume you had before the implants because the tissue became thinner and some volume is lost. I highly recommend having the 700cc implants removed and at the same time a breast lift with a small implant to maintain shape and volume (around 300cc) but that won't cause neck and back pain. You can also have fat transfer to breast although it may not provide enough volume, shape or support compared to an implant. I hope this helps. Wish you the best

Answer: What can I expect after 700 cc gel implant removal with no implant exchange? Implants are 7 years old. Hello and thank you for your question and sharing your photo. It's hard to give you any specific advice with the uploaded pictures. Generally speaking, after removal of breast implants, breasts will look smaller and deflated. Many patients will need a breast lift after breast implants removal, which can be combined with liposuction and fat grafting to breasts to enhance the volume. I would seek consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a full evaluation and advice. Best wishes and good luck, Pejman Aflaki, M.D. Johns Hopkins-trained double board-certified plastic surgeon
