I've lost over 100 lb and.no longer look much younger than my age of 49, I look my age. I've had fillers put in but they seem to drain fast. My eyes are sunk in but I'm told it was due to rubbing my eyes from allergies when younger. I also have a turkey neck that I really don't like. What procedure do I need?

Answer: T-Neck, CO2, Fillers Hello, and thanks for your question. Congratulations on the weight loss--that is quite an achievement! When you have lost a lot of weight it is common to have saggy skin. People also lose fat in their faces, which can lead to sunken eyes. For loose neck skin, there are a few options that depend on the degree of laxity and your budget. A comprehensive fix would be to do surgery to remove the excess neck skin. Another option would be to do non-surgical radio frequency skin tightening treatments. Typically people require about 6 session to achieve a good result. You would need an in-person consultation to make sure that the treatment is appropriate for your goals and your time investment. For under the eyes we would likely recommend a combination of CO2 laser treatments and a more permanent filler. We have been using Bellafill for people who want a longer lasting result, and have seen great results. The CO2 will help rebuild the structures under the eye so that the filler has a better foundation to sit on. Please consult a board-certified facial plastic surgeon. There are many options to address your concerns, and you should be able to get a great result.I wish you the best!

Answer: After weight loss, what can be done about a turkey neck? Let me join the others who have already responded to your question by congratulating you on your weight-loss! Is difficult to see your neck in the photo provided but I suspect based on the amount of weight that you lost and your age that you do have some degree of skin laxity in the neck. This would most likely benefit from the lower facelift/neck lift. Although there are other nonsurgical options available, the results tend to be more limited and less long-lasting. The main issue I can see based on the photo provided is a significant loss of volume in your mid face. If traditional fillers containing hyaluronic acid are not working for you, you might consider other options such as cheek implants, Sculptra or fat transfer. Your surgeon should be able to provide you with the pros and cons of each and guide you to the options that best fits your goals. Hope this helps!
