Thank you for your question. It is possible, although somewhat rare, for someone who regularly uses Botox to develop a resistance to it. You may be right about covid association and Botox. I have not seen it in my practice yet, but this problem was recently discussed in Telegraph UK. We just learning about many associations with the virus. True resistance is quite rare, and likely happens to the proteins, so switching to pure forms like Xeomin may help. The most common reason though is improper techniques, product or dilution. Some people truly have strong muscles and need more product. Hard to figure out what is the reason in your case, best advise would be to stick to one experienced provider and try to figure out what’s happening documenting procedures meticulously each time.
