I had juveau 4 weeks ago. The injector was new to me. She suggested micro doses of Juneau for crows feet and under eye. I have never had any treatment in this area. When I came home, I immediately noticed I had a clear drooping to the right and left of my nose. It became a clear dip. I was told they have never had this happen. Can I be fixed or do I wait it out?
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Things to know about Botox Thank you for posting your question. If the changes in your face are due to the neuromodulator, they will gradually dissipate as the injection wears off over the next several months. You should notice improvements in time. It is best not to try to correct it too quickly with other treatments and injections. If you find it has not returned after a couple of months, you can use dermal fillers and Botox combinations to create a lifted and symmetrical look. An experienced, qualified injector can work with you to track your progress and create a custom treatment plan.

Answer: Juveau I'm sorry you've had issues since your Juveau treatment. The result of this treatment is temporary and will wear off gradually over three to four months. You may even start seeing improvement after a few weeks. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your injector to avoid this issue in the future.

Answer: Interesting finding... It is a bit unclear for me when it happened and how progresses. If you noticed it right after you came home after procedure it would be weird to happen because of botox because it is too early... maybe it is due to swelling from the procedure (especially if you had fillers previously done there)? However if it still persists after 4 weeks after the procedure other reasons should be considered. It is possible that the botox weakened a portion of the orbicularis muscle causing the sagginess of this area. It sometimes happens even with the small amount of botox, especially if it was diluted more that standard recommendation. That should be resolved in a few months maximum. Keep up posted and give more details, maybe more pictures from different angles. All the best!

Answer: Can the dip in my face from bad botox be corrected? Any neuro modulator has unforseen consequences. The good news is these products are metabolized over the next few months so the lip dip effect will slowly improve. There is no treatment for this other than tinture of time. If really wanting to have something done consider threading but this would be a waste of your $$$s.
