Thank you for your questionI personally recommend you wait until two weeks after your booster shot to get any form of injectables. Historically, this is the protocol for surgical clearance, so this would be on the safe side. It would be best to speak with your injector about your concerns and options.
Hello @watmoetje Thank you for your question. Fillers produce a different effect than botox , the ideal is to wait two weeks after the application to do any aesthetic process that is injectable. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS
There is not a known risk of having botox or fillers following your booster. The recommendation is made to allow your body's immune system to get through the cycle of being stimulated following the booster. Everyone's immune system and way that they respond following a booster varies and the 2 week recommendation is a guideline so that your body's immune system is strong and recovered.
You can proceed with your Botox treatment as planned, however it is best to wait for two weeks after your Covid vaccinations before having your filler treatment. See your injector for more information.
Hello, and thanks for your question. I would not recommend getting an injection or any type of plastic surgery that soon after the covid shot. There is not enough research on this but there have been some adverse effects. I would wait at least 2-3 months personally to be on the safe side. Best of luck to you! Hi and welcome to our forum!in general, it is best to wait 2 weeks after receiving Covid vaccine before undergoing filler or botox injections. Otherwise, if an adverse reaction occurs, one will not be able to determine its cause as delayed reactions may occur. "Poking the tiger" for the 12th or 13th day? It is not recommended.Best wishes...
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
Hi @DerekR, Yes masseter botox could be a good option for this issue. It can help create a more oval face. Best of luck.
I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion...
