Hey! One of my eyes is much weaker prescription-wise than the other. The result is that she appears much larger, maybe because I don’t use the muscles around it to squint as much? Is there a treatment option for this? Would Botox be the way to go?
Answer: Facial Contouring with Fillers (Juvederm Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Radiesse, Bellafil), Sculptra, Fat Grafting, Implants Facial sculpting and contouring can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Countour, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would give improvement in facial balance. Fat or implants are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: How to refresh the eyes without surgery: Is Botox a good choice? Hello, and thank you for your question. While facial asymmetries are common (we all have them), there are non-surgical ways to address them. Botox is a great treatment option for achieving facial balance. When injected into the lower forehead and the outer tail of the brow, it relaxes the muscles and creates a lifting effect in the upper lid, making the eye look more awake or open. I highly recommend only seeking treatments from experienced, highly trained injectors. They will have the skill to precisely inject filler with the right dosage into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. They also know the most advanced injection techniques to ensure you safely achieve your desired results. Good luck!

Answer: Botox for my uneven sized eyes? Hello @realself8989 thank you for your question and showing your picture. Body parts do not all have the same size or shape. There are generally certain asymmetries. For example, one eyebrow is different from the other and the same happens with our eyes. For a proper assessment I suggest you consult one or several board certified plastic surgeon for more information and options. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD FACS

Answer: “Uneven” eyes Hi! First I would ensure that your prescriptions are correct so that you don’t have to squint as you say you do. You can also consider using Upneeq, an eye drop the lifts the lid if your one lid is closed more than the other known as lid ptosis. Check in with your eye doctor who will ensure your prescriptions are correct and ask about trying upneeq to even out your eyes!
