Hello, What's the costs, recovery and "customization" options? I have a dorsal bump and my ears are a bit over projected. I am 27, healthy, no medical conditions ect. 1. Is this a pragmatic option in all facets. Saving money for 2? Is it common? Recovery? 2. When I mentioned customization, as poor as that wording is - I don't want my ears to be totally pinned back to the point where there is no more cartilage. Just to the point where they don't totally flare out, but aren't glued to the side of my head like I see some surgeons do. Is this a possible request?

Hi @schnozz! I recommend taping to all my patients for at least 3 months post op to help with swelling and accumulation of scar tissue. Best of luck to you!
It is absolutely possible to narrow the nose without having to break bones. I frequently see patients who wish to narrow a wide nasal bridge. The bones can be gently filed, which allows for more precision, thereby reducing the width and decreasing recovery time and bruising. For best results,...
Thanks for your question. I don't think that vomiting will cause any change to your surgical result. If you feel like you may have injured your nose in some way you should contact your operating surgeon to ensure that your recovery is going as smooth as anticipated. Take care.
