Areola correction or areola tattoo? (Photos)

Augmentation mastopexy is a challenging procedure, because those 2 things work against each other by nature. When the pressure from the implant pushes harder than the tissues can handle, they will fight back as they are trying to get tighter.
The problem with a wide, stretched areola is that simply tightening the skin around it will probably lead to even more tension on the scars, and they may stretch out even more or become more irregular in the end. Permanent suture can help hold things in place, but it can also be uncomfortable in the long run.
For revisions, sometimes the mastopexy needs to be redone and the implant downsized a little to get the areolas smaller and more symmetric. You should consult with a qualified surgeon who has experience with breast surgery revisions and discuss all of the options, including those with a different scar pattern and different sized implants.

Both options are good options - if a qualified surgeon fixes your areolas with special stitches that can give you a good result. Alternatively, a good tattoo specialist can also give you a good result by hiding the scar. I'd advise having a consultation with both, and then weighing up the pro's and con's to come to your decision. 

The key to a successful revision in your case is a meticulous procedure, exact measurements, and a surgeon who pays attention to details.  Make a few consultations with board-certified plastic surgeons in the area, and go with whomever you feel matches this description.  With good technique, you should be able to have a pristine outcome.Best of luck!

Your areola size can definitely be addressed. This is something that can be fixed, but is best seen in consultation to determine you skin tissue quality.  To have an adequate correction with symmetry you need to have another mastopexy, this will both fix your areola and breast asymmetry. 

Reducing or matching the areaolas exactly can be very challenging doing an augmentation Mastopexy procedure. You are dealing with two opposing forces: Increasing the breast size, and tightening the skin envelope. Once healed, if there are discrepancies in the areola size can be done under local. Since you are adjusting only one vector it makes having lasting results easier.I agree with the other doctors- having an in person consultation to discuss your exact concerns is going to be the most helpful.

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  Based on
your photographs, you may benefit from an areolar revision, which can be done under local anesthesia.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Areolar revision can be done quite easily under local anesthesia and a quick recovery with the right surgeon. I would recommend you could salt with a board-certified plastic surgeon by the American Board of plastic surgery who has a large experience in this procedure. You would have to be seen in person to determine what your main concerns are and what the possible treatment may include to achieve your satisfaction.

I am sorry to hear about the difficulties you are experiencing following mastopexy-augmentation.  The areola asymmetry you are experiencing can be corrected with an areola reduction/circumareolar mastopexy.   This approach will not add any additional scars and can achieve good symmetry with an ideal sized areola on both sides.  Tattooing will not be needed.  This can be corrected without extensive difficulty.  Best of luck.
