I’m 3 days post op after having breast implants and have lost my appetite, is this normal?

It is perfectly normal not to have much of an appetite after surgery.  It could be from the pain medication and/or the anesthesia. Try little portions as you can tolerate them. Contact your surgeon with any questions or concerns. Best wishes.

It is common for patients to lose their appetite a bit.This can be related to the pain and also the pain medications which slow down your GI tract.

Sorry to hear about your rough recovery.  It is normal to have loss of appetite after surgery.  Due to both the anesthesia and the surgery itself.  Sometime pain medication can also do this.  I typically do not have patients try to massage their implants so soon after surgery as massage can be very painful at this point.  Speak with your plastic surgeon to see if you can stop massage for a few days.  Best of luck
