Surgery has always been my calling, but when I explored the world of art and design, I realized that I would have to have creativity in my profession. Plastic surgery is what I was meant to do, and it satisfies all of my interests and abilities.
Great experience. Very happy with results. Would highly recommend to other people looking for a highly skilled surgeon. I wanted this for a long time and only wish I had done in sooner. Wearing backless dresses for the first time in my life!!!
I had a cyst between my breasts that I showed several doctors as it began to get larger at one point. I was confident that it wasn't dangerous but felt it was unsightly and uncomfortable. A dermatological surgeon who was clearly competent warned me, as had my dermatologist, that I might well have a large scar. Those concerns made me choose a plastic surgeon instead and my dermatologist, who is great recommended Dr. Bartsich. She made the process relaxed, quick, almost entirely painless and after only 2 weeks the wound looks good and as if there will be minimal scarring. Dr. Batsich has a sense of humor as well as a sense of aesthetics and skill with a needle. My insurance handled all the cost since it was a cyst and I could not be happier.
I came to Dr. B feeling so sick from my 9 year old gummy bear implants and 4 incisional hernias from a previous a non-cosmetic procedure. That procedure left me with a horrible scar down my belly for almost 20 years. I have had to live with that having shame about wearing swimsuits although I am very athletic. Dr. is very attentive and perfects what your goals are. I am so happy I found her and she gave me new confidence at 40. All symptoms of BII are gone and my body looks like my 20 year old self. I feel amazing and look forward this new energy to my skills in the gym. Thank you, Dr. B!!
I've recently decided to get a breast reduction. Dr. Bartsich answered all my questions during my first consultation. Her breast reduction technique is unique and I decided to move forward with a breast reduction. Her staff made me feel safe and supported throughout the process and answered questions as they arose. Dr Bartsich has gone above and beyond to make me feel safe through my procedure and has checked up on me to make sure I'm healing okay. I am blown away by my results and it's only been a week post surgery.
Dr b Changed my life and gave me confidence and most importantly my dream boobs! I simply can’t put into words how thankful I am to have met her. Dr b is an amazing surgeon. She truly goes above and beyond to take care of her patients. Her team is incredible and truly love what they do. They made me feel comfortable and safe throughout my entire procedure and recovery. Her team is extremely patient and helpful. Being anxious to have surgery her staff went above and beyond to make me feel relaxed and safe they treated me like family. From the moment I met her I knew I wanted her to be my surgeon not only is she an extremely knowledgeable and talented surgeon she is an incredible person with a good sense of humor. If you are looking for a natural looking breast augmentation she’s your miracle worker! Dr b puts your mental and physical health first when it comes to finding the right size implant for u. I came into her office thinking I wanted something I didn’t really want. Trust her she knows what’s best. She gave me the healthiest best proportioned implant size for my body and I am so beyond thrilled with the results. I went with the ideal implant not only do they look and feel real but they gave me overall peace of mind. My only regret is not having had a breast augmentation done sooner. Being someone who had a tubular breast deformity and small chest it dramatically impacted my self esteem. I can tell you whole heartedly undergoing a breast augmentation was by far the best decision I have ever made. She is a true artist!
First off, I thought I'd offer a concise version of this review, which is: Dr Bartsich is absolutely amazing! She made me feel so at ease throughout this whole process and gave me my dream breasts! The longer version: When I decided to get implants, I did a lot of research and ultimately felt like subglandular Ideal implants made the most sense for me. Most doctors I spoke with or researched seemed to almost exclusively do under the muscle implants and although they would do over the muscle if I requested it, I felt I wanted someone with a lots of experience with subglandular Ideal implants specifically. That's where Dr Bartsich comes in. I actually found her through the Ideal Implants website where she's listed as a preferred surgeon, and after my initial consult with her, I instantly knew she was the surgeon I wanted to go with. I had consults with other doctors and I always left them feeling unsure and nervous about moving forward for some reason. One doctor showed me a 3D rendering and when I expressed concern that I didn't really like how it looked he said "well this is just to get a general idea, it won't actually look like this" (ok then why even do the rendering at all?). In contrast, my consult with Dr Bartsich left me 100% excited and confident about the procedure. She didn't bother with 3D renderings or telling me to walk around with bags of rice in my bra (which other doctors had suggested and I also found kind of pointless.) She looked at me, took measurements, and asked if I'd want my new breasts to just make my shirts a little tighter or if I'd want to have to buy brand new shirts. I said I wanted to buy brand new shirts as long as that didn't mean the implants would look outrageously big on me and she assured me she doesn't do outrageous. Ultimately, because of my broader shoulders and wider set breasts, she suggested I go with 320cc and I agreed. The end result has been amazing! I'm only 8 days post-op but I already love my new breasts and can tell I'm gonna love them even more as they heal/drop!
In 2017, I met Dr.Sophie at a bodybuilding competition. I recently had a mini tummy tuck which was a disaster. I wanted to get it corrected but was so afraid to go through it all over again so I gave up. Then “SHE” walks into the auditorium with the promoter and he directs her directly to me!! The chances!! My coach and I were literally in disbelief... Instantly, I began to explain my situation, my heartache and my desires. Dr. Sophie was/is extremely forthcoming and easy to talk to. I fell in love. I eagerly scheduled a consultation and we discussed my options and she assured me that she could fix what was broken. I needed a full tummy tuck and she could make my breast look as if I was 22 WITHOUT IMPLANTS which is exactly what I wanted a Breast Lift! Needless to say I was ready but life happens.. I couldn’t do it. I had to undergo back surgery, heal and a whole other things things that came with this 53 year old body. Needless to say in the midst of an epidemic my life changed. I was finally ready and determined to change what ailed me. We met again after 3 years and scheduled it. When I woke from surgery I was amazed!! When I went into the office and she took off the bandages all I could do was cry!! She fixed what was broken and did it with graciousness, patience, precision and artistry.. I was so comfortable and put at ease I didn’t worry about one thing. The trust I had for her is insurmountable!! Thank you Magic Maker I knew it was you when u walked through those doors in 2017!!
I have had such a wonderful experience with Dr Bartsich that I am compelled to write this detailed review, as I am still in disbelief at how smoothly things have gone from the moment I got in touch with her. I chose her as my surgeon for a breast reduction after a couple other consults with other surgeons that had left me with a weird feeling. From the first phone call, my experience with Dr Bartsich was different in the best possible way. Her patient coordinator was straight-forward and honest about what to expect. She gave me all the info I needed upfront (I have noticed a lot of patient coordinators in the area plastic surgery try to give you the run-around and I just don’t have time for that). She was able to schedule me for a free virtual consult with the Dr the very next day. I could tell right away from the consult that I could trust Dr Bartsich to operate on me. She spoke to me like a human being, as a woman who understood what another woman is going through, and it was very plain to see that she is an expert in breast surgery. She spoke to me for almost an hour answering all my questions without ever rushing or dismissing my concerns. There are a number of apprehensions I had and my reduction was not so straight forward as I had to have an additional incision to remove some dense axillary breast tissue which another surgeon had told me would require two separate surgeries. Dr. Bartsich very confidently assured me she could do everything in one surgery and took the time to explain exactly how it can be done safely. I have also seen other surgeons impose their opinions on how small you should go and even things like whether you plan to have more children (as this surgery may affect the ability to breastfeed). Dr. Bartsich in contrast respected my desire to go as small as possible with no weird judgments on anything. On surgery day, I had the best experience with everyone on Dr Bartsich’s team. Nurse Stacy was so empathetic and professional. While I was in the room being prepped for surgery I simply mentioned how cold it was and she immediately put a heated blanket over me. Little things like that mean so much when you’re terrified and anxious. And the anesthesiologist took great care to ease my fear of going under anesthesia for the first time in my life. Now I am 10 days post-op and so happy with how I am healing and how I look. My breasts look perfectly symmetrical, which was another fear I had when I had found out some surgeons have another surgeon assisting them and doing the other breast simultaneously. Dr. Bartsich assured me (without my even asking) that she does both breasts herself. And now that some of the swelling has gone down I can finally see the shape and size I am going to end up with. I finally feel like my breasts fit the rest of my body and the shape looks so natural. For the first time in my life I like what I see when I look in the mirror. It’s hard to put a price on that feeling and I could not be more thankful to her. Her follow-up care has also been excellent. She checked in with me after surgery to see how I was doing and has been very responsive to any questions and concerns I had after surgery. I recently developed a minor complication caused by an allergic reaction near an incision and she had me come into the office right away and gave me a cream that cleared it up. I was not asked or influenced in any way to write this review — I just had to share my experience, as I know how difficult it is to find a trustworthy and highly-skilled surgeon. Dr. Bartsich has exceeded my expectations!
I wanted to have a small cosmetic procedure of removing moles on visible areas of my body. I was extremely nervous about having the procedure done and very worried about scarring. Dr. Bartsich's unmatched professionalism and bedside manner quickly claimed me down. Her ability to explain every step in detail is something to be admired by other doctors. I am beyond happy with how the small procedure came out. The scars are barely visible, and I did not realize how much of an impact a small procedure could have on my confidence and self-esteem. She is amazing.
Amazing! 47 year old who had never had plastic surgery/was nervous. But I also knew for years I wanted an upper blepharoplasty. Dr. Bartsich listened, made me feel instantly comfortable and excited about my decision. And I couldn't be happier with the results. Super natural, even better than I had hoped. And the whole experience from pre, during and post procedure was really great and comfortable.
Hello When performing a tummy tuck, the skin is usually shortened top to bottom (vertically), but there can be extra skin side to side (horizontally). While the sides can be pulled in with some success, if there is a lot of extra skin in that plane, it will sometimes bunch in the middle. It can also fold the skin around the new belly button, making it hard to see the shape that was made. The other thing to remember is that tummy tucks create a lot of change and they take a long time to settle out. It is hard to know what this belly button looked like over time, but the good news is that you can probably have it revised if you are not happy with it. Scars generally tend to contract over the first year after surgery, and sometimes that means a really small belly button in the end; but this can often be addressed. While it is important for the belly to look great overall after this procedure, belly buttons should not be underestimated! Just like nipples on a breast, I encourage you to seek an accredited plastic surgeon with experience in detail shaping and belly buttons in particular and discuss options for revision of that part of your procedure. Good luck!
Pregnancy changes everything- everything! While the skin gets stretched and pouches of fat do form, there are also a lot of changes to the underlying muscles and layers called fascia. When the fascia is weak, it can't hold the belly together anymore, and things will seem to fall out all over the place. Also, weak fascia will fail to hold the muscles in alignment, and make your core lose functionality. A tummy tuck can remove extra loose skin, fat, and also tighten the muscles and fascia if needed. It is important to get a full evaluation of the situation, because just managing the skin and fat may still leave you with the muscle unsupported, which would be cosmetically and functionally problematic. Very often, repairing the belly after baby (especially after a c-section) involves more than just a traditional tummy tuck, and the right approach can really help restore your core. In some cases, the right repair can strengthen the belly, support the back, relieve pain, and get you moving better than before. You should seek a credentialed surgeon who specializes in abdominal wall repair after pregnancy to ensure that your case is properly evaluated, and that you maximize your result. Good luck!
Although they are not yet available outside of the United States, IDEAL implants are an excellent potential product for the European markets. Global trends in implant preferences show that many patients are favoring saline implants, as a lower maintenance alternative with a good safety profile. As implant technologies continue to progress and evolve, there is a good chance that this device will be sold abroad, or that European manufacturers will develop similar products. Keep in mind that even when the implants are available in Europe (whenever that may be), surgeons will generally require some time to become familiar with the devices over time and repeated use. Another option would be to travel to the United States for your procedure, one which can be coordinated for travelling patients if the appropriate resources are available. Best of luck to you!
Hi! Everyone has a different response to removing implants. A lot of what you can expect depends on what the quality of the breast tissue is, how thick and elastic the skin is, and what size implant was placed. If the skin has little elasticity (which is the amount it springs back, not the amount it stretches when pulled), it may sag after explantation. If the breast tissue is thin, underwent changes through weight variations or pregnancy, or was flattened by a large implant over a long period time, it may actually end up thinner than it was before the original augmentation. A large implant can also put pressure on the chest wall, and this can actually change the shape of the ribs, leading to a flatter chest form under the breast. In those cases, removing the implant can also lead to a flatter contour. The first important question to ask is: Why do you want to remove the implant? For patients who are having issues because of implant size, then downsizing can be an alternative to pure explantation. For patients who are having issues with implants placed under the muscle, a change in plane can sometimes solve those problems. In many instances, doing both can be helpful, and can surprisingly lead to a completely different implant experience. Speak with an appropriately credentialed and experienced surgeon and assess all of your options against your current concerns. As a team, you should be able to make a decision about how to move forward, while understanding what to expect, as well as what cannot be predicted. Good luck!
It is difficult to make a specific assessment without a proper exam, but you should know that tuberous breast occurs on a continuum- it is possible to have a mild case. The elements of tuberous breast include a tight breast base that looks like someone has a band around it, with the rest filling out like a muffin top. The areolas also tend to be wide and the breast generally feels and looks tight. In patients who do have tuberous breast, the problems is twofold: 1. fill out the volume and 2. release the tightened tissues. The question of size of implant should be answered carefully and taking into consideration your overall frame, the tissue quality, and what will happen once the release (if needed) is complete. This is not a decision that you can make on your own- your surgeon should guide you as to which implant will likely give you the result that you want. You should find an appropriately credentialed practitioner who has experience with these issues to help you reach your goal. Good luck!
