There are a multitude of factors, which contribute to aging of the skin. Genetics, sun exposure, weight, fluctuations, diet, are some of the most prominent. In that way, you could say that lactose, which is the sugar of milk, could contribute to skin aging just like regular sugar does. However, unless you’re intaking exceedingly large amounts of it, this should not be any more a contributing factor than anything else. A lifestyle which includes sun avoidance, no smoking, minimal alcohol, a diet much like the Mediterranean diet and regular exercise will be very helpful in maintaining the best appearance of your skin. Best wishes.
Aging if the skin is determined by genetics, smoking and sun exposure. Lactose fromMilk I have never hear of nor sugar. I’d they do have an effects it’s minimal
Lactose has two types of sugar, glucose and galactose. The body has complex mechanisms for regulating sugars. Minimizing sugars does help minimize inflammation and related aging. Sugar control is helped by regular exercise, metformin, low glycemic index foods, and lemon or vinegar before meals. Some milk is filtered to reduce sugars (Fairlife). Remember, the majority of skin aging is due to sun exposure. Sunscreen is the most important factor in preventing skin aging. UVA causes the most damage. Pavise is a sunscreen that has the best protection from UVA damage. It also lasts 6 hours, so less frequent re-application is needed. If you use a different sunscreen remember to re-apply every 2 hours. Other helpful factors include improving hydration and avoiding any nicotine because it significantly ages skin. Alcohol consumption also ages the body including the skin.
I’ve not heard that sugar causes aging. To prevent signs of aging I suggest wearing daily sunscreen.Best,Mats Hagstrom , MD

Modern facelifts that combine skin re-draping with repositioning of the deep layers (SMAS) can provide you excellent results.
Exactly as you said- losing weight has resulted in some aging of the face because of fat loss around the face and also from skin that used to drape around more volume now being saggy/in excess. YOu should definitely wait until you are at your target weight because ongoing fluctuations will...
