M, Age 30, 175 lbs, 5"10. I Understand not all faces are perfect however not being able to take a decent photo is annoying how can I correct this? Any advice would be helpful. Everyone says I look fine but I feel like 1 side of my face is definitely much different than the other.
Answer: Asymmetry The degree of asymmetry of your face is normal. Everyone has one side that is smaller and one side that is larger. If it truly is driving your crazy, you could think about some small measures to try to even it out like botox and filler (asymmetrically placed). I would steeer you away from more permanent procedures like surgery.

Answer: Facial asymmetry Thank you for your question and sharing your photograph. There are several statements here together. People can look fine and still be asymmetric because facial asymmetry affects all of us. One of the aspects of facial asymmetry is that the position of the eyes and the eyebrows is not the same on the right and left sides. Another aspect is that our facial expressions are not symmetric. If the eyebrow on one side is more active, in your age group I would definitely suggest to start with botulinum toxin and see if you get a significant enough improvement in the balance of the facial features. If you feel that there is improvement but not to your satisfaction, you could also consider a unilateral brow lift for the brow that is lower. This can produce a more open expression around the eyes in particular for someone who has a tendency to frown when they focus.

Answer: Facial asymmetry I can see the facial asymmetry in the photo. I would pick the side that you prefer, and find a surgeon who performs custom implants using a CT scan to make a sterolithic implant for the side that is less favorable. In other words, use the good side to make an exact copy for the other side. These are usually mandibular angle implants.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Yes, you have two different sides to your face. However, your nose is the most obvious factor. It is leaning to one side. A rhinoplasty may be able to create the best improvement with the least amount of surgery. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Yes You are asymetric Asymmetry is completely normal however in your case the brow is significantly different in height from the left to the right. This can be corrected with a right side only brow lift to even the eyebrow level to the other side.It would be important to know from a medical history standpoint if you had experienced any facial weakness or had a history of Bell's palsy.
