I got a tummy tuck 2 years ago but my scar and belly button scar are pretty bad and I have a triaglular bulge on one hip (dog ear) can you hve a tummy tuck redone ?

Surgical procedures such as tummy tucks occasionally require revisions to refine the results. This should generally be pursued with the surgeon who performed the original procedure.

You could have your scar revised and the dog ears flattened.  In all likelihood it will heal with a better scar now that the skin has had time to relax and the closure will not be under tension like it was at the original procedure.Thank you.

ANSWER: IT DEPENDS.  IT IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE A TUMMY TUCK REDONEWHEN THERE IS STILL EXCESS SKIN. OTHERWISE PROCEDURES MAY BE LIMITED TO SCAR REVISIONS.  IF THERE IS A BULGE THAT REPRESENTS RESIDUAL FAT, THEN LIPOSUCTION MAY BE BENEFICIAL.

Hello dear, thank you for your question and pictures.
After evaluating your pictures i can see that you don't need a Second tummy tuca, what i would suggest is to get surgery revisión, correct the scar and the dog ears on the abdomen. I would also suggest to get liposuction on the abdomen this way you can have a more flat abdomen. Approach to a certified surgeon to clear all your doubts.

Thank you for the question and pictures. Based on your description and photographs, you do not need to have another tummy tuck performed but will likely benefit from revisionary surgery.   In your case, scar revision, excision of the "dog ear", plus/minus additional liposuction surgery may be helpful. Communicate your concerns/goals directly with your plastic surgeon. Working together you will come up with a good plan to achieve an outcome you are happier with.
