Hi I have just found out I'm about 4-5 weeks pregnant. Thing is I was scheduled to get cool sculpting on my chin next weekend. I get it would be a no on the stomach. But if it's just freezing fat and on the chin it's not likely at all to affect the baby is it?

Answer: Pregnancy and Coolsculpting Although there is little chance that it may affect your pregnancy, most Coolsculpting specialists will recommend you avoid doing anything that would remotely complicate your pregnancy. It is just not worth any risk.

Answer: CoolSculpting during pregnancy Congratulations on your pregnancy and thank you for posting your question regarding CoolSculpting. While CoolSculpting is a very safe body contouring procedure, its effects on pregnant mothers and their developing children have not been studied. Even though it is unlikely that CoolSculpting will affect your child in any way, even if you were only planning on targeting your chin, I would not recommend moving forward with the treatment. Your body will also undergo changes as you advance in your pregnancy, including gaining fat, so waiting until after your pregnancy would be best. If you are still interested in a CoolSculpting treatment after having your child, be sure to schedule a consultation with a board-certified cosmetic specialist. Best of luck!

Answer: Coolsculpting and pregnancy Thank you for your question and congratulations. Pregnancy is a contraindication for many cosmetic procedures, including Coolsculpting. I recommend discussing your goals and any procedures with your medical doctor.
