Question

I’m 23 but I’ve noticed changes in my skin for 2 years now. I feel like it’s slowly progressively getting worse. It started out as my nasolabial folds getting deeper and now my actual smile lines are setting in even at rest. I thought they only formed when I smiled but I recently realised they also form when I talk and the skin around my mouth moves a lot and looks really bad for my age. Thinking of getting a mini lift even though I know I’m young… I also have some accordeon lines forming.

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

There is no way you need a facelift at your age. If you have heavy neck liposuction might be an option but I can’t tell from the photos

You are not a candidate for any surgical lift. However, micro-needling with or without radiofrequency could be helpful and is good to do as preventive as well.

All people are going to have noticeable difference in their face from their teenage years to when they are in their mid-20s.
I don’t see an indication for facelift surgery.
To minimize aging, I recommend avoiding excessive facial sun exposure, and wearing sunscreen every day.
This is the best way to Minimize further signs of facial aging.
Facial aesthetics, including predisposition, for some facial aging is highly related to facial skeletal structure.
Issues related to the lower, 1/3 of the face are therefore often related to the shape and size of the mandible.
We can’t really make the mandible bigger in a simple way, but This does explain why some people develop loss of jawline definition, jowls and nasolabial folds at an earlier age.
