Dear Experts, I‘m a 37-y.o. female from Europe. I lost a huge amount (~50 kg) of weight a few years ago and sadly my facial skin didn’t retreat back to where it should be. It somehow looks unevenly proportioned as well. So I have decided to get a genioplasty(because my chin has been bugging me for years) but I am not sure what would be most effective for the neck/jaw/ Maybe you could give some advice whether a liposuction of the areas or a neck lift would deliver better results?
Answer: Genioplasty Vs liposuction +/- neck lift It would be important to review some scans of your chin and mandible to give you the best advice. Depending on scans to reduce chin projection. You could possibly shave the chin bone / soft tissue work. It would all depend on how thick your chin bone is. Or yes, the genioplasty which will also shorten the length on the mandible (jawline)
