Could I get away with just liposuction instead of a butt lift? (photos)

Hi, it all depends on what you would like to see. Based only on this photo, I would recommend aggressive liposuction of the entire low back to help define a more narrow waist, possibly a small amount of liposuction in the area of fullness on the upper outer thighs. That fat could then be used to fill in the depressed areas known as the hip dips. This would give better shape and contour to the buttock and low back. Keep in mind if you should have liposuction performed without the fat transfer (BBL) there might not be enough fat to use in the future if you decided to reshape the buttock. Best of luck.

Yes you would look great after liposculpting of your hips. Now if a priority was to adjust your hip dips or add projection of you butt that would require a mini BBL. However, if decompressing your love handles and making a smooth transition from waist to hips is your priority, that can be accomplished with liposuction only.

From your photos you appear to be a good candidate for liposuction of the hips/flanks. Depending on your goals this may be enough to get the results you want. Sculpting the area around the buttocks can give the illusion that the buttocks have been directly changed. Schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

When I make an assessment regarding body, contouring for women’s back sides are usually envision an S-curve that starts just below the armpit and finishes just above the knee. If you take the picture you’ve included and you either visually or in a printed copy, using a pen, simply derived a large, smooth continuous S curve you will see that the ass gets broken up badly around your hip and the love handles. These are the areas that need contouring the most and where you’ll have the greatest benefit. You carry a substantial percentage of your body fat above your hips in your love handles and lower back. This is genetic and can only be corrected surgically. Liposuction should be done from the top of your hip dip, including your love handles waist back, and under arm area all the way to the side of the breast. Getting this done correctly is more difficult than most people think. It absolutely requires a patient being positioned appropriately preferably laying on your side while the slide contour is it being created.
It cannot be done correctly if you’re laying on your back under general anesthesia while having a tummy tuck. If you want to have these as combined procedures, then there’s a substantial chance and Liposuction will not be done correctly. I’ve seen too many cases and plastic surgeons will do liposuction on the back without turning the patient on their side or face down and is severely compromises how well you can come toward the back side. The number of plastic surgeons who can do quality liposuction work consistently is relatively small. You can simply ask the provider how many of each of the procedures they have performed. It seems very reasonable to expect a provider to have before and after pictures of at least half the number of patients they have operated on. They should have before and after pictures of all of them, but some people do not show up for postoperative appointments.
When viewing Liposuction results very carefully to make sure there are no skin contour irregularities in any of the areas treated.
