Can I undergo local anesthesia 2 weeks after receiving general anesthesia?

It depends. What are you having performed under local anesthesia? Is it something small such as a mole removal or is it more? If it is anything more than that it is probably be wise to wait. Speak with your surgeon about your concerns and she/he will advise when it is safe to proceed with your surgery.

Anesthesiologist tend to use drugs with short half-life’s, and most of the effects of general anesthesia wear off within hours. There should be no contraindication to having a local anesthesia at this point. If you have questions, I suggest you talk to your providers.
