I never thought in a million years that I would have a flat stomach. And I had no clue the confidence that would come with removing some skin and getting breast implants. Life changing. Dr. Ray is a true artist and my body is proof!
I can’t say enough positive things about Dr. Ray! After extensive research and many consultations, I knew I found the surgeon I trusted and felt most confident in. Dr. Ray truly cares for his patients and takes his time to listen, go over all options and set realistic expectations. I am 8 weeks post op and over the moon with my results. If you’re picky about how your belly button will look and having a shape after a tummy tuck then he is your guy! I had an amazing experience and plan to see Dr. Ray for more procedures in the future!
Dr Ray is an excellent surgeon with an amazing staff. His entire office is dedicated to helping patients. Dr Ray listens and his goals are you goals. He wants the best possible outcome for his patients. He takes pride in his work and he’s an artist of true talent. I lost 170 lbs but was left with a mess of just skin. Dr Ray took that skin and showed me what was hiding underneath. He gave me my body my confidence my freedom. I can’t express enough how grateful I am I chose him and the gratitude I have for what he’s done for me. Another thing I had surgery on a Friday. His fellow Dr.Z checked on me via FaceTime Friday night Saturday morning and called me Sunday afternoon. I saw her Monday morning in office. She made sure I was okay all weekend had my meds my incisions looked good answered my questions calmed my fears she was my light in hardest days of recovery. ? Maggie is the nurse there and she promptly answered all my emails (and there were several) about questions concerns I had leading up to surgery. The amount of care and compassion that comes from this office isn’t found anywhere else. They care about you as person not a dollar sign. Safety and results are their priority and you get lots of follow ups. If you book with Dr Ray you’re going to be in the best hands. I’m only 2 weeks post op and already in love with my results. “Good news is, it only gets better from here” -Dr. Ray Thank you so very much for everything. This was the best thing I’ve ever done worth every penny!
If you want a breast augmentation that looks beautiful with very little pain then Dr. Ray is your surgeon! From start to finish I can say that my experience was an exciting but peaceful one. He came highly recommended by a friend and I am so glad I chose him for my surgery. I trusted him completely and he did not disappoint! When looking for a surgeon you not only want to find someone who will listen to you, answer every question and be available if you have concerns afterwards but he must be good at what he does. I got it all with Dr Ray! I LOVE my new look and one day when I decide to have that mommy makeover he will be the one to do it.
Dr. Ray and the team were incredible to work with. He took a lot of time to answer all of my questions and give me realistic feedback on what to expect. The entire process was smooth and pleasant. He truly has an eye for detail and wants his patients to have the absolute best outcome. I'm 2 days post-op and already in love with my new boobs! Updated on 12 Oct 2023: Everything is healing up nicely! Updated on 18 Oct 2023: Loving them already! We took the strips off of incisions for good today! ???? I do have one tiny spot under my left breast at the T incision that needs to be covered for one more week because of a scab, but that’s all it is. Still some soreness under my arms where the axillary/bra line lipo was but none really with my breasts. The swelling is continuing to go down and I’m finally starting to find my normal again So thankful for Dr. Ray and his team! Updated on 17 Apr 2024: So pleased with my results!! As you can see, I opted for a much more natural look and chose *not* to have a fat transfer or implant for upper pole fullness - which I am totally happy with!! My scars do not bother me (or my husband) one bit, and they continue to lighten over time. I did use scar tape religiously for about 1 month, but lost the desire to dedicate the time to it since I’m really ok with the slight amount of scarring I do have. My right nipple has diminished sensation (more was removed from this breast) but I have full sensation in my left. A few months ago, I did have a spitting stitch at the edge of my areola on my left breast but it was removed and healed with minimal additional scarring. Overall, still one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and I wish I had made it so much sooner!
Dr. Ray and his staff have been great through my whole process! They’ve made it easy to ask questions without feeling like I’m inconveniencing them. Because of Dr. Ray, I have more confidence! I had a full tummy tuck, hernia repair, 360 lipo, and ab repair. Because Dr. Ray specialized in hernia repair before, I was able to have one less surgery thank God! I will 100% be going back for any future work!
Amazing! Excellent Care! Dr. Ray and his staff are very caring and friendly. I am 57 years old and after losing 90lbs and 25 years post c-section I decided I wanted a tummy tuck and liposuction to remove the loose skin and repair the muscle from C-section. I knew from my first meeting that he was the doctor for me. He asks great questions about what you want from the procedure, he listens, and he makes sure yoi understand the before, during and after process. I love how thorough he is and how much he cares about not only the work he is doing but the patient too. He even provides his cell number to answer questions and concerns. To be honest, I questioned if I was too old to have this done but I’m here to say you aren’t too old because how you feel about yourself matters. I love my results and I feel much younger. The process and recovery was smooth.
A simple 5 star review is not enough to give to Dr. Ray my experience with him was beyond amazing. I have had multiple surgeries in my life but Dr. Ray is truly a phenomenal surgeon. He is humble and down to earth which is rare for surgeons especially in plastics. I highly recommend him.
I lost 135 lbs and had a large amount of loose skin on my stomach. When I decided to get a tummy tuck I traveled 10 hours to see Dr. Ray after finding him on instagram and would do it all over in a heartbeat. He is very detailed, great at communicating with you every step of the way, and sets expectations for what to expect for surgery, recovery, and results. Dr. Ray is incredibly kind and personable. You can tell he truly cares about every single patient he has. I am seven weeks postop now and my results are better than I could’ve asked for. Can’t wait to see how they continue to heal. I am so so thankful for Dr. Ray and his team for changing my life.
Dr. Ray is outstanding! He is kind, patient and thorough during the whole process. During my consultation, he gave me different opinions. Not only did he give me options but he explained the results and the potential risks with each option which I appreciated tremendously. Dr. Ray and his team were wonderful, the day of surgery went perfectly. He personally answered all of my questions after my procedure. He gave me the confidence I’ve never had. I have the absolute best looking natural breast all thanks to the best. I cannot recommend him enough.
I’m so sorry for your difficulty. The biggest thing would be to discuss with your cosmetic/plastic surgeon and see if permanent sutures were used during the repair. If they were then i would say yes going back and removing the sutures could possibly help. Keep in mind though asking for that will be abnormal and require a good discussion with the operating surgeon and possibly require a second opinion consult.
The big thing looking at your pictures is that you would benefit from muscle repair and skin restricting. you do not have a big pannus. A panniculectomy only includes removal of hanging skin without reposition of belly button or repair of muscles. This is different than a tummy tuck which should include repair of muscles, reposition of your belly button and restructing your skin to drape better over your abdomen.
This is a hard one to answer without a good physical exam. Often times correcting overdone liposuction can involve surgery, fat grafting renuvion or some combos of all the above. Whatever you decide on have a good upfront conversation with your surgeons and make sure to have realistic expectation of what will happen. Most likely 100% fix will not be possible but likely a good improvement in the quality of your arm can be achieved in experienced hands.
My vote would be to wait. I think sculpting with your tummy tuck would provide better results with less scaring and skin issues to deal with at the time of your surgery. I do a lot of revision liposuction and revision tummy tucks. I know in my hands and likely any surgeon would agree the first time you’re fixing something is that best chance to create the most graceful curves and shape. Cost for flank and abdomen liposuction is approx 13-16k. Most people to finance the surgery with specialty finance companies, like care credit or alpheon credit.
It looks like you had a hider liposuction. The results look good. In terms of the small area of extra line, likely looking into fat transfer would be the best option. It will likely take several sessions to get a good result so be patient and willing to invest a little into the process if it’s a priority to you.
