Answer: Would be difficult It would be difficult to get any significant fat for injection given your given height and weight. However, if your body type already partially resembles that which you desire, it may only take a small amount of fat to effect a big difference. The only real way to tell if you have enough tissue to meet your goals would be an in person exam with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: BBL Candidate Thanks for your question. It is difficult to provide a proper evaluation without pictures. That said, a BBL requires 360 lipo, which is lipo of the upper and lower abdomen, the upper and lower back and the flanks. In addition, if you do not have enough fat in these areas, liposuction can be performed in many other areas of the body for fat transfer to the buttocks, such as the thighs, upper arms and chin. That said, you may be required to gain some weight. I recommend you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Make sure the surgeon you choose has extensive experience with BBLs and clean credentials. Always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Moises Salama MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Considerations for BBL and Liposuction Considering your goals and current physique, you might benefit from a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and liposuction, especially if you're aiming to enhance your body's contours, fill in hip dips, and achieve a more defined waist and thigh gap. At 5'5" and 118 lbs, being petite with minimal fat, it's important to have realistic expectations about how much fat can be harvested for transfer to the buttocks area to fill in the hip dips. Liposuction can help sculpt and reduce fat from targeted areas like the arms and thighs, contributing to the overall contouring effect you desire. However, the amount of fat needed for a BBL and the specific results you wish to achieve, like those inspired by public figures, depend on the existing volume and distribution of your body fat, as well as your underlying bone structure. A thorough consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon experienced in BBL and body contouring is essential.
