Will eye filler increase cheek size?

No, tear trough filler doesn't usually increase cheek size. Under eye hollows can be permanently corrected with surgery or temporarily camouflaged with fillers (Restylane, Belotero, Volbella).
Surgery would require a fat-repositioning lower lid blepharoplasty. In this surgical procedure, fat from the eye area is moved into the tear trough depression filling the actual depression.

No, well-placed filler should not increase cheek size. These fillers (Belotero, Volbella, Restylane Silk) are good for improving under the eyes, but keep in mind, a combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  Although I would not recommend Voluma for an undereye filler, proper placement of a thinner HA like Belotero, Volbella, or Refyne should help improve your hollowing without adding to your cheek.  Hope this helps.

If the filler is appropriately placed, it will not increase cheek size. Please get evaluated by an experienced physician with an eye for beauty because not all sunken eyes look good with fillers. Actually at times fillers can make your eyes look worse.

It's hard to comment on your specific case without seeing a photo or evaluating you in person. Properly placed undereye filler should add volume to an already full cheek. However, it may make your appears more sunken in  and that is something that would need to be assessed prior to any treatment.

If the filler is placed correctly on the orbital bone there should not be an increase in cheek size. Too, the key is choosing the right product for under the eye. A softer product like Volbella or Restylane Refyne should be placed there. Heavy duty fillers like Voluma are placed in the cheeks and should not be injected under the eyes.
