Thank you for your question and for providing a picture. We are sorry you are unhappy with your treatment. We would encourage you to wait two weeks until you decide to dissolve the product. The lumpiness may be due to swelling, a bruise or the filler which may take a couple weeks to "soften." If after 2 weeks you are still unhappy, you can dissolve with hyaluronidase.

Thank you for your question. There is no contraindication to getting fillers and atopic dermatitis. We have many patients that receive treatment and have this condition. We would recommend not receiving treatment during the time of a flare up, or if there is broken skin from scratching or signs of active secondary infection. We would wait to treat during a time where the flare up remits for the best experience possible.

Thank you for your question. You can get dermal fillers while on an anticoagulant such as Warfarin. There is an increased risk for bruising and bleeding when taking any blood thinner. I would discuss with your cardiologist and get clearance for treatment. You can also prevent bruising by taking Arnica Montana supplements 3 days prior to treatment.

Thank you for your question and for providing pictures. Swelling after treatment with Juvederm in the lips usually lasts about 2 weeks. We also let patients know that fillers sometimes lump and then soften over a short period of time, usually a month. However, if you are experiencing a lump that is bothersome you can get it dissolved with hyaluronidase.

Thank you for your question. There is no reason why you cannot solely treat around the eyes without treating other areas. The providers may have suggested not treating the forehead without treating the glabella (between the brows). The reasoning being that sometimes people get heaviness of the forehead. Also they may have suggested treating other areas because when you treat one area of the face, other areas that need treatment become more apparent.

I had been thinking about kybella for years. It never seemed to be a good time to deal with all the swelling, and let me tell you, the swelling is no joke. BUT, being covid times and either staying home or masking in public was a great time to do it. I’m almost four months out now and very happy! Samira was great at explaining everything and being real about expectations. You will swell. I wore turtlenecks for two weeks straight, that bullfrog neck is real. They say swelling up to 8 weeks; but at 8 weeks I still had visible swelling and a few lumps. I found massaging them helped. I also got a RF treatment that seemed to help dissolve that last lump I was feeling. For me, it just took longer. I had gone in for two vials but she recommended three - I believe that was the right call, since I don’t feel I need another treatment, as some people do, which is awesome! My neck looks more like it did ten years and 15 lbs ago, lol. How much you need probably depends how much extra fat you have. Anyway, I’ve been a lurker on this site for more than a decade and wanted to give a positive report here. Pics are pre, 8 weeks post, 11 weeks post, and 3 months post. Glad I did it!

Not only did she have the knowledge of the procedure, she was able to show me some before and after photos of past patients. I was sold. We discussed my goals and went over all the details as far as what to expect during and after treatment. The office was nice and staff very helpful and friendly. Day of my treatment went just as planned. I actually ended up doing more product that originally discussed because of the "Look" I wanted to achieve. The pain was ok I actually expected worse so that was a plus. I was able to see a difference the minute I was done with the procedure too. I know it will take months for full treatment to settle and kick in since it will also grow over time, so now its just about me enjoying my results! I highly recommend this spa and the procedure if your not looking at going under the knife. Amazing surprised with results and 100% happy.
Amazing! Loved my experience from start to finish. Came to Glow since I had heard such great things about them. I am a small framed girl and I had been wanting to do a BBL. Best place in vally/Encino for fillers and botox. I have tried many places in Los Angeles, but none was as upscale spa with premium services as glow med spa. Mastaneh who is the injector knows exactly what she is doing. I love how my lips looks like. So natural. My husband can't stop complimenting it. The Botox is always on point!! She numbs me for free, no pain at all. such an amazing service. The front desk always offers you tea coffee and drinks as soon as you walk in. Everyone is just friendly and educated. The amazing European aestheticians been doing facial for more than 30 years and they are best at what they do. Can not go wrong with them.
My nail fungus was always a concern for me. It started on one toe and spread to three more toes. I would never wear open toe shoes. Since I started laser treatments at Glow med spa in Encino for my nail fungus I have seen great improvement. Two of my toes don't have fungus anymore. This is a embarrassing topic for me and it took me a while to have the courage to write this review.
