Visible scars and big round tip - will I need a revision? (Photo)

Fractional lasers such as Fraxel, erbium, and CO2 laser can be combined with radio frequency and also fractional RF to improve textual issues and microtopography. Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. Good Morning! I'm sorry that you're experiencing trouble with your rhinoplasty. At 7 months post-op, there is still time for swelling and scarring to improve. It sounds like you're doing the right things like using silicone cream over the scars. For the tip, you may want to visit with your surgeon to ask if steroid injections may be appropriate. Swelling can take well past 8-12 months in rhinoplasty to finalize. If you're still unhappy after that time period has elapsed, have a discussion with your surgeon about your concerns and a possible revision. Hope this helps!
