Dr Lin was amazing he did such a great Job he was so nice and kind he explained everything in such a great way to wear i was not even worried about having the surgery he called me the night before my surgery just to see how i was and to see if i had any questions. that meant a lot i have had several surgeries in the past 3 in which was to remove tumors from both of my breast to wear i had pretty much nothing left. now thanks to Dr Lin I look great i feel so much better about myself everyone loves how i look I'm always getting so many compliments.i have been giving so many people Dr Lin # because everyone loves how he did such a great Job
I was so nervous going into the surgery but the doctor was really patient and supportive. Now my ears look really great and I can wear my hair up. I no longer feel self-conscious about how I look. My only regret is not doing this long ago. Dr. Lin went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly. I am really grateful.
My experience was one that I will always remember! When I first met Dr. Lin and his staff I was treated with compassion and care. I felt heard, and i knew then I came to the right Doctor to do my surgery. I have had this apron belly since I was 22 years old and for years i tried to lose it with Diet and exercise but when you have csection its a littler harder for some. I never knew about this type of surgery until I started hearing about online. And with all the rashes and etc. I have been experiencing I prayed I coud get the surgery done. Now at 50 years old finally here, and I feel amazing. No rashes , no smell, no cysts! No belly on my lap! Cant wait to be able to do all the things I have been wanting to do all those years! Doctor Lin helped me!!
I wish no one has to ever go through what I went through on my breast cancer journey, but if I had not chosen Dr. Lin as my surgeon, I don't think my journey would have had the same outcome. He is kind, compassionate, understanding, empathetic, and a perfectionist, in the best of ways. He is unlike any surgeon I have ever met or worked with,(I am an Orthopedic Nurse) and he is a plastic surgeon, remarkably so. I refer him to anyone that has a need for his skills, but he is above and beyond what I expect from a Physician. His office and team of professionals are attentive, caring and are always willing to go the extra mile for their patients. I will never see anyone else in his field of practice.
Dr. Lin is kind, caring, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. Dr. Lin is one of the finest physicians I have ever met. I was so fortunate to have him as my surgeon. He took the time to understand the pain I was going though after surgery and to understand the health challenges of my husband. This made an extremely difficult situation tolerable. I believe that he is likely the best plastic surgeon in Boston. I hold his team in high regard - Jamie, Callie, Mollie, Brooke, and Eliana! Many many thanks to them!
Wonderful experience with BILH and Dr. Lin! explained everything thoroughly and set expectations. The procedure and recovery went flawless. After getting the splints out, I could take a deep breath through my nose for the first time in my life. Would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a better quality of life
I'm glad that I saw Dr. Lin and his team to get a 2nd opinion. Found him in a magazine titled 2024 Top Doctors and he's been performing plastic surgery for about 25 years, maybe more. He's compassionate and will take the time to answer my questions and clarify any issues I have. His Team and staff respond to any correspondence/emails I send them also. So overall, I'm very happy and and I would recommend Dr. Lin and his team to anyone/everyone. Been about 8 weeks since the procedure was done and I'm very happy...still healing of course. Thank you.
I thought about a neck lift for many years and did my research on which Dr to choose and I am so happy that Dr Sam Lin did an amazing natural looking neck lift, I didn’t want to look different I just wanted to look and feel better about my neck, His team has been wonderful from the office staff, nurses and residents, everyone was super helpful and very knowledgeable about my procedure, Dr Lin was professional, kind and confident, He was available pre op and post op to answer any of my questions, I stayed over at Beth Israel Boston one night and this hospital was great and the staff made me feel comfortable and well cared for, The surgery went well no complications, nothing unexpected, really no pain except for tightness and feeling my heading was being pulled down but that lasted about one week, I didn’t take the pain med the first couple of days then I honestly didn’t need it anymore, My incisions around my ears are barely noticeable and the ones in my hairlines healed well, I followed his post op directions and wore my head wrap 24/7 for 3 weeks then decreased to 12 hours at night, I still do have some swelling under my chin but I’m told that will go away, I highly recommend Dr Lin and his team , you will be in good hands,
I got an open rhinoplasty with Dr. Lin for tip reduction and rotation. He did a very thorough and great job, and there was very minimal pain during the entire healing process so I didn't even have to take the prescribed pain medication. The result so far is exactly what I asked for in our pre-op appointments. The lift was very subtle and natural, and I can't speak to the tip reduction yet since there's still swelling, but it seems like it will be a natural-looking outcome as well! I would highly recommend Dr.Lin!
Dr. Lin and his entire team were great to work with throughout the process. From consultation to submitting information to the insurance company (including an appeal of an initial decline) to the surgery itself, everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Lin himself is easy to talk to, explained the procedure and expectations for post-surgery care and I am very happy with the results of my breast reduction. As most people have said about having this done, I do wish I had done it sooner! I can't recommend Dr. Lin and team enough.
Thank you for your question; yes, in certain cases an isolated neck lift may be performed in a patient which would limit scars in certain locations (back of the ear, under the chin). It always depends on a patient's anatomy and there is a possibility of some effect of tightening to nearby regions such as as the jawline..
Thank you for your question. Dripping from the nose after rhinoplasty may be due to factors related and unrelated to having nasal surgery. There may be options to try to decrease this finding and also requires an examination of the nose. Revision rhinoplasty is performed for changing the nasal tip as well depending on one's goals...
Thank you for your question. Breathing changes that occur after rhinoplasty may be due to a variety of causes including blockage on the inside of the nose. It is key to have your rhinoplasty surgeon do an examination of the inside portion of the nose on both sides to determine potential causes..
Thank you for your question. In cases when the skin appears thicker I would want to know some of the original goals of the rhinoplasty and understand those aspects before moving forward with any additional treatment ..
Thank you for your question. Breathing function with or without prior surgery can involve aspects of the nose on the inside and outside. It will be important to have your rhinoplasty surgeon examine the inside of the nose for any potential cause of obstruction as well as the outside 'visible' portion of the nose as well to determine a plan..
