Often times, this is bulbous and convex cartilage which needs to be repositioned and flattened. If the area feels like swelling, a steroid injection may help to reduce the fullness. Compressions as well can help. A revision procedure certainly can make improvements if done carefully. If you haven't discussed your concerns with your surgeon, perhaps revisit them.
